Malik Sb, give it a good hammering, the hub is pretty solid. It will come out. Keep us posted.

job done! One outer and both inner joints were shot! took the axels to a machine shop .got 2 inner and one outer replaced with new good quality kits and packed with liqui moly lm47 grease!

my mehran has strange problem in cold morning it starts on hald self and when i shut it down and start it again then it starts after 2 selfs and car is on petrol not cng. what can be problem any idea?

ideally you need 2 hammers one to strike it with and one at the exact opposite end of the strike, this causes the shockwave to go forwards and fully bounceback causing the morse joint taper to jar itself loose. You can employ some fancy pullers but two hammers is the easiest.

I employ the use of pullers when Im dealing with aluminium hubs.

with your mehran - smack it - make sure you are using a proper hammer and swinging it with your wrist and not your elbow. The aim is not to break the part but more to "ring" it loose - it deforms shape for a millisecond and pops the pin out.

then tighten it till the stud breaks, remove wheel and proceed to install new stud into hub.

Dear Pakwheelers, the issue I am facing is regarding the Mehran(Carby) Fuel pump failure.
The mechanics say that when the Mehran is driven on CNG then the pump fails to supply fuel due to closed Petrol solenoid while the pump continues working due to mechanical in nature.
Now my question is that can we do some changes in the fuel lines of car as shown in figure so that by keeping working the mechanical fuel pump; the petrol do not stop and move through the fuel pump? Is it workable or not?

Here another Petrol Solenoid (electrically operated) will be used as "No Turn Valve" on the Fuel Return Pipe from Carburator to Fuel Tank.

The process would be as following:

When the Petrol is ?ON?:

The both Petrol Solenoid (1 & 2)Valves will in Open Position. While Petrol Solenoid 3 will in close position.

As normally operated the petrol will go to the Carburator and the unused petrol will return from the return line to the fuel tank. No Turn Valve (Petrol Solenoid) will also remain open and there will be no hindrance in the flow of return fuel to the fuel tank.

When the CNG is ?ON?:

The both Petrol Solenoid (1 & 2) Valves will in Closed Position. While Petrol Solenoid 3 will in open position.

The Petrol Solenoid 1 will close the Fuel path from Main Fuel Line to Carburator and on the other hand the No Turn Valve (Petrol Solenoid 2) also will close the fuel return line path. In this instance the Mechanical Fuel Pump will keep working and the Petrol Solenoid 3 will open and will route Petrol through the pump to the Fuel Tank only.

@racer7 I think using "non return valves" will work . By the way you don't need all this as the pump is only producing 4.5 psi maximum pressure. It should not harm your pump while the solenoid is close on CNG. A dry running pump on the other hand would be risky. Just make sure there is always some petrol in the tank and run your car on petrol every once in a while. Your plan is workable though if you still want to go ahead with it.

main thing which ruined my mehran fuel pump was that plastic gasket behind the pump that black thing
air would get in from the leaky gasket and at first it would leak oil and then pump faliure

@ekdrifter my mehran 2006 vxr 65k driven gives 12.9-13kmp/l in city and 18-19kmp/l on motorway is this good?
