do the easiest thing first. take a thick wire,from alternator to the positive of the battery. the wire that comes default with the setup develops resistance over time and can cause what you are experiencing. also make sure car negative terminal has enough/solid ground connection

just for future reference, when anyone says that the resistance of the wire increases, they are giving you an excuse, why? because it takes time to sort out problems of this kind, they prefer a jugaar fix rather than fixing the real issue

only things that go bad are connectors and contacts

In my case the culprit was the wire from alternator to battery. It was so rusted and almost broke 95% of strands so the electrician removed rusted piece of almost 1 foot and replaced with new thick wire. This made good affect on the charging.

I have facing a mind craking problem in my coure 2000 .... my car not use daily but once in the week .... every time when i start the car but first charge the battery with my ups .... after reache to the destination or power on the head light the car going to dead .... chk the battery it says 1058 volt ... :((
why it is draining ....
am charge the battery before install it to the car ...... please suggest me what to do ..
am new on PAKWHEEL ...

Could be many things
. Battery faulty (cell short)
. Alternator fault
. Some connection leaking voltage.

First thing get battery checked for SG and post results. SG should not vary more than 0.50 from cell to cell.

yeah....!!!

i check the black wire come from alternator to some where (i dont know) but in the middle of the wire wire burn n crack in to 2 pcs with green rust on it ...
after some struggle change the wire with the same gauge and concealed the wire with electric tape ...
start the car and check the volts it says 14.01 or 13.76 variation in it ...
after changing the wire the problem gone ...
