i heard from a very "unreliable" source that the reason they are discontinuing mehran coz its assembly plant is about to rust away!

Pak Suzuki introduced so called new CULTUS which is internationally called SWIFT. This is totally a disappointment.

How come they lauch new SWIFT parallel to CULTUS VXRi, VXLi ???

Dear Users,

         I know world is small and we come acrross many people who know alot. 

         Anyways. rumors are always there. As far as i know even if mehran is going to be change tommorow i wont tell. But yes i will tell you that mehran is the most hot selling product of Suzuki so its not logical to shut it off. its going to be 20 years of its shape in 2008.

          There were rumors of swift before new cultus. But it is impossible to bring new model of higher price that would cut Liana market.

           Cultus is known as Swift. Liana is known as Aerio. Mehran was known as Alto. So these names dont matter much.

            New APV is launching in few weeks.

efi engines is a start but euro 2 compliant engines are old regulations. all cars in eu are euro 4 compliant. Hey at least they are compliant.

I would be happy if they release the new shape Suzuki Swift as in India and hope they also launch a diesel variant. I think Alto will be spruced up with newer dashboard.

Why doesn't PakSuzuki market the Swift in Pak?.Even if it is priced higher , it will atract a large buyer group, 'cause it is both funky and practical.Do dealers have a say in determining what the market will bear in Pak?.Curious.
