Perfect halt.

Well, apart from demonstrating their latest traction control devices, M-B had a subtle message and that is one doesn't have to buy a sports car to have a bit of fun. You could push your off-the-rack C and E-class sedans to their limits one moment and the next cruise down main street like the responsible person you are. Hope you liked the pics. Even better, the Merc dealer is mailing cd's of the event and i'll try and upload it here to get a real feel of the cars racing on the track. Till then. Cheers!

To those tuning in late for the show, this event was all about traction, braking, cornering and free-wheeling all at the expense of hapless passengers. It was scary at time sitting inside but all worth the thrill:grin:

:o :D. Chery wasn't about design. I attended a consumer event in Chennai where they showcased three of Chery's latest cars that they plan to introduce next year in the Indian auto market. I do have pics of the event and i might just post some pics soon. There was an exclusive 'China Pavillion' at the New Delhi Auto Expo this year where these cars were displayed. I didn't bother visiting the Chinese hall then as i was short on time.

Here's another video from the Mumbai or Delhi StarDrive show. You can get a better idea of the fun that we had at the Chennai event too!

When we were in Asia, we had the Mercedes Benz E 200 2007, the one with the circle front fog lamps, the interior is pretty much the same in 2010's model?
Even the Volkswagen Passat we have here is so good at the road Mashallah, this is Mercedes, and having been and owning both cars, I must say that Mercedes is good, of course, but Volkswagen is no less as well.
Anyway great pictures and descriptions.
Looking forward to many such events.

I received the dvd of this event(Chennai StarDrive) today and i've been watching it since evening:grin:. I'll try and upload it on youtube or directly onto this site if it's possible. I'll get some help.(I have to!)lolzzz. But, what a difference a recorder makes!.You'll see.

Are these locally manufactured...?

The sedans are manufactured in India( C , E and S Class). Everything else in the product range is imported.

Yeah. I love the Passat. The drive is great and the car handles almost like a sports car despite it's size. No body roll when cornering and the auto tranny is one of the best out there.My view.
