Dear all,
I want to go for either a used C180 or a BMW 3 series instead of a brand new local Honda Civic. Some pals on the forum have told me that if I go for a C180 I will regret it, for all used C180s are full of problems and start giving errors after a few months of use. I respect their opinion but I would also like guys from the C180 fan club to come forward and give their input about the performance of used C180s in Pakistan. I would like to go for a used 2007 C180 or C200 (new shape). I understand that it would be a huge investment for I'll have to put some extra money into my brand new Honda Civic option which costs Rs. 2.5 million.
I have a 1960 Mercedes Benz 190D with me which my dad brought from Germany, it was zero mile and still parked in my garage.
Please tell me about whether I should go for a brand new Honda Civic or a 2007 used C180/C200. Please guide me about which car should I opt for and why. I'm a huge fan of German, American and Japanese cars (JDMs and US models only).
Please give me your input.
2007 w204 class can be bought for 40 lacks and thats the minimum price for a resonable car, i bet you can find a good one but it depends on if you can check the car correctly or someone you know. But down side is nothing you can get will be driven less then 80,000 km. Car which is driven this much needs works like fluid changes belts new tires maybe suspension and bunch of other stuff.
On the other hand option of zero meter civic does not sound like a bad idea, but if i have that kinda dough then i would kinda go with a Mark x or a camry and if a benz then it would be a w220 s320 and spend a million on it in form maintainence. :banghead: but thats just me
