Well MG might be good, But i will have to say they have still time to reach the reliability.

I had MG5 in Oman asa rental, 30k driven 1 year old car. Was very nice to drive but on the hilly roads in Salalah after a few hours of drive there was a check engine light and car was in limp mode. luckily after power cycle the limp mode went away but the check engine light remianed. Returned the car immeditely.

For next time will not be renting out a chinese car.

We went on our HS all the way upto Chinese border, never had a single issue.

You have to remember to put the transmission in Sport Mode, when going Up or Down the hills. It keeps the car in a lower gear and prevents issues with drivetrain overheating. Also, while coming down-hill it provides engine braking, preventing brakes from overheating.

anyone knows how to change temperature units in MG HS to Celsius? I did a factory reset of Head Unit and now Celsius is not showing up. Instead I'm seeing fahrenheit. Kindly if anyone knows the solution please let me know.

It can be changed through Head Unit, think in "Car" (car icon) settings screen.

Alhamdullilah bought mghs from Islamabad 2021 .it’s only three days but I am enjoying it.the previous owner was such a nice person our deal went very smooth .was pleasant surprise usually don’t happen in pakistan.

Hi, do you have local CKD unit ? also what is the average you are getting inside city ?

Varies widely depending on how much traffic there is. Best way to get good mileage is to avoid coming to full-stop and pace car so that its moving continuously.

Fuel consumption of Mg is not as bad as usually people say.I think it’s all about your driving habits.I was personally prepared for something between 6-8 km / L but giving me good average.I will suggest if somebody want it first get a test drive and see if the suspension is for him or not .fuel average shouldn’t be the prime concern and shouldn't stop you from buying if you like it.

Yup I get around 7-7.5 L/100 km on motorway with cruise at 120.

What's the update on CKD bookings and deliveries?

I got an sms from MG back in Decmber that on full payment on booking they would deliver car in January.

I recently saw MG HS expert review of Suneel Munj. He mentioned he used regular fuel in his car.
I know some discussion already done in this group in topic. I would like to hear from people who are using regular fuel in car whether they faced any issue after long term use.
