Anyone installed larger battery in MG HS, any issues/complaints from dealer about warranty?

Daewoo has DIN-666 (same size as oem battery ~60Ah) and DIN-888, which is 72Ah so has slightly more capacity and it will fit in the battery tray as well.

I changed battery of my MG ZS with Daewoo DIN battery. When I went to dealership, they said they recommend the same daewoo battery for replacement.

Is anyone having break noise issue after changing break pads from MG dealership? I changed my front break pads about 5 months ago. But after 1 month, the left side pad started making grinding noise when it gets warm after driving 10 mins.

Got it checked twice from MG dealership. They just use sandpaper and issue goes away for 4-5 days but then it comes back. Any experts here who can advice why its happening?

DIN-666. I have no issues with battery life so I sticked with original size. But it shouldn't be an issue to go little above.

Can anyone share the Service schedule for MG HS? I recently bought MG HS, i have owner manual etc but no service schedule

You can visit mg service centre they will do accordingly
If u dont want to visit them so do change engine oil oil filter air filter ac filter after every 5000 km
Brake and throttle service after every 20 k soft cleaning
Change Dct fluid change at 40 k
Change Spark plugs at 80 k

Thanks a lot dear, how much does it cost to change dct fluid? How about brake pads? One of the Z link is also making a little noise at only 34k kms at odo,

It takes 1-1.5 litre outside shops will cost u 5000 max
Mg will cost more i heard from a group some one attached its bill that they charge him 50k for dct fluid change
Brake pads depend on your driving style better to get them inspect at 40000 km u can inspect the thickness from wheel side

That will void the warranty, if something goes wrong the gentleman takes all the liability, if the car is out of warranty then no issues.

How much time MG HS takes to reach normal temperature after a cold start?
Mine is taking toooo long ,i am using 0w20 engine oil, not living in extreme cold weather area, no snowfall etc.

I have a MG HS 2021 model. I am using 0w20 Motul 8100 and it’s running great, it has great performance and a better fuel consumption, but my concern was were should I get this authentic oil cause the dealership doesn’t have it, so last month I come across a brand name as Bhai Bhai Oil, they have a mass range of engine oil to chose from and know I’m fully satisfied with my car maintenance partner.

Hi Everyone, I have MG HS 2022 in Egypt.
I accessed the engineering mode and went to CAN INFO but nothing is clickable.
I cannot change any settings.
View only and unable to make any changes.

Any clue how to fix this?

Anyone know of good carpet mats for MG HS that also have holes to anchor them to floor clips? The ones that came with MG are pretty low quality.
