Question to all frndz,
I cancelled my MG HS booking on 18th Dec 2021, n company told me I will get a full refund in 25 days, now it’s more than 50 days n no signs of refund.
Did anyone get a refund after car cancellation?
How should I proceed now ?

Cancelled from MG capital. Received the cheque in less than a month.

I’ve personally seen two mg HS sell for 60 and 61
People are still buying them

After sales is poor but car is good

I am not MG user but I like this due to its aesthetics of cabin, even from outside it looks good better than many othet in league. I have heared many things which doesn't go in favour of this vehicle. For example poor fuel millage, not having off road capability, not good performance in steep climbing, poor after sales service, non availiblity of spare parts specially in small cities, extremely expensive spare parts. I don't know how much is reality but that is most common coments I got from users when I was planning to buy a cross over. In my opinion these are Cars not SUV so we have to embrace this reality and have not to expect a hard core SUV capability and endurance from them.

You have to excuse my ignorance in cars and SUVs. Simple People like me in this category take what companies claim in their media advertisement and brochures, but in fact it is far from high claims

Fuel economy is mixed
But overall it’s running cost is equivalent to a diesel hilux
A little bit more than Sportage and tuscon but not unreasonably

Yes real users feed back comming now which similar to large extent to my collected data ....but honestly I like this MG most.It has very appealing cuts and curves. If someone who has to go very rarely nothern areas and that are like nathia gali then I think MG is far good and adequate. You know when issue comes? .when your cheeky friend or cousin cross passes you through rough terrain or climbs steep hill with nasty annoying smile on his evil face in smoky Dala or something like that and you are struggling with embarrassment to pass same terrain in your high tech equipped with lane departure auto parking ambient lights 10 marla sun roof while giving justification to your family sitting behind and looking at you.

thanks for reply. Then what's the result. Delivery time decreased or the used one with low mileage selling below invoice price. What's the buying trend of other compact SUV's. I have observed on PW that mostly people prefer Tuscon but also at same time either its booking is closed or the delivery times are more than 6 to 10 months.At the same time there us hue n cry at civic 11th generation thread of its pricing plus oriel HP.

yes but it all depends on your driving requirements and where u drive. If u live in city with some very minor off road or go to some place in city which has high speed breakers bumps or broken roads then compact SUV is ideal to avoid scratching the floor or side skirts of sedan. But if u regularly go to some places in mountains which has some serious off roading conditions then one must go for proper SUV which in Pakistan minimum starts from Revo or used Vigo or Isuzu D Max.

100% agreed....I have notices many times including me that we buy things which are far far above our requirements just due to status Co. I bought reborn with sun roof. You wouldn't belive that in 6 years of use I never opened more than 3 time that sun roof what is use then.

Tuscon has more on because it’s short in the market

There are currently 500 new MG HS for sale and only 50 tuscon

MG is a good option and car is very much in demand
It wouldn’t be selling for 61 if people weren’t buying it
I just sold mine for 60 (simple HS)

Only downside is after service
Service centres and technicians are weak
Parts are hard to find

Price of parts is similar to all new entrants (tuscon Sportage proton)

Fuel economy is mixed 9-13km/L

Car is good
Has no faults
It’s good time to buy an MG as many pieces are present in market
In a few months it will decrease and on will rise again
New CBUs arent coming due to tax price hikes

Its a very unsafe investment . No local assembly , they can pack up tommorow and leave.

Sir I am poor man...will not bet on thing which has highest posiblity of availability till stocks last. Due financing restrictions, new high tax regime and no local production it is very risky business...that's why despite my heariest desire to buy that I went for all rounder.....Fortuner Sigma 4, whose parts are availible from small to large city and no chance that it will only remain my car...meaning it has high resale any time I will low 2 lac and in a day it will go
