Nope, used sports mode for Monal. Paddle shifters would've required a lot more control for the twists and turns that are there, but I'm definitely gonna try those next time uphill, once I'm more familiarized with the proper usage for upshift and downshift with DCT.

I'll try taking it to monal post fajr to test out gesr shifters. One has to learn how to drive a dvt with turbo

Also for android auto play, do i need to you use orignal samsung sable? My current xiaomi ctype doesn't works.

Yes only heated.

These are not ventilated seats - which have holes in them and a small fan that blows air through them. They're actually really good for hot weather as it prevents sweating on back. I'm not sure why Pakistanis call these ventilated seats.

In shorts, these are not ventilated seats. They just have a heating element underneath the faux leather. In Pakistani environment (most cities) its useable for around a month.

I'm usint Xiaomi 11T with a regular type C cable, works well with Android Auto. However I've observed a reasonable lag when using Google Maps. It starts off alright, but after a while the map is actually 300-400 meters behind, which results in missing the turns one has to take on time.

Don't know if that's the standard lag in all MG HS, CBU or CKD. Or may be a software update is required.

Has anyone tried TPMS calibration after tire rotation?! I did get my MG HS tires rotated, and now the TPMS is showing values in wrong places, for instance showing low pressure on front left tire whereas it is now rear right tire.

Wondering if there's anyway to recalibrate it ourselves, as I reckon the MG car or MG lounge would charges thousands for this minute calibration.

Did you get the tired roated from a reputable tire shop? One thing i learned while owning prius was to never take my car to any anaaari mechanic since they mess up the sensors. I got the recalibrated from a hybrid shop.

I checked the navigation for a bit, they semmed to work fine for me, no lag in showing real time location against set route, however some of the roads are missing, i might just use google maps over these.

Also did a small test on infotainment lag. It's not as bad as potrayed.

For me its the time it takes to boot up the rear view camera which annoys the hell out of me , Like I start the car put it in reverse and I cant wait 12 secs for it to load up , usually im done reversing and just putting it in drive when the rear view camera shows any display, its faster once you have reversed once.

Agreed on the infotainment lag, it's not that bad, one gets used to it eventually and won't feel it. The lag I'm witnessing is with the Google Maps on Android Auto, it starts off fine but after driving a few KMs the maps are somewhat behind my actual position. And yeah the rear cam lag is also frustrating at times, but I've adjusted to it now, gotta wait couple of seconds for it to boot up as soon as the car starts.

I'll take the car to some reputable workshop for TPMS calibration, I hoped it might be possible to do that ourselves.

Oh this isnt the case with mine, i tested this out. Started the car and screen was in loading phase and i instantly put it in reverse and rear view started to display. Maybe over time is will get sluggish though it shouldn't

Not so bad for the first trip, mostly driven under 2 RPM

I get 7.4L/100km (13.5km/liter) on motorway when doing around 105-110km/hr.

Is it normal for MG AC to be noisy?, i feel like water sloshing sounds coming out of vents, same as i used to hear in my honda city when i accelerate it, but in MG it's very loud and noticable all the time.

At full blast yes, the air conditioning definitely over works a bit to adjust to our climate. Get the condenser cooled down with cold water before long sunny trips and you should notice a lower noise.

Probably something to do on the phone side of things. I use carplay and no lag so far.

Got the car registered for 175k from islamabad. Paid online via islamabad city app. Such a nice service and free of cash hastle

But still one needs to take car to excise for cars physical inspection otherwise they don't issue smart card , just fyi
