It's a shorter suv not a sedan. SUV's in the same segment are generally shorter because you require less legroom because of the higher seating position. The car with it's interior quality and features is leagues ahead of a civic. I'm also upgrading from a civic x and the two are leagues apart

That vehicle was booked in automall Karachi and transported privately to islamabad, it only had predelivery inspection by MG capital
The vehicle was mishandled by the private transport service the owner hired
The battery acid leaked damaging some paint inside the engine bay

The video was probably removed because it’s not a factory defect neither is it the fault of any specific dealership

@⁨Haris R. Ghazi⁩ ...you must have given this detail once sharing this video. Anyway, this MG HS is not issued from MG Capital. Unknown individual booked from Auto Mall , Karachi through Dubai Islamic Bank. After receiving this MG from Auto Mall, the individual transported this MG to Islamabad at his own arrangement. Accordingly, he reported this issue to MG Capital as directed by MG Pakistan. MG Pakistan is investigating this issue. Most likely chance that this incident occurred while transporting from Karachi to Islamabad for which MG Pakistan is not responsible. However, still under investigation prior giving any final verdict. @⁨Shoaib Z⁩ please apprise

HS booking has stopped whereas ZS booking is still open
I think they want to first fulfill the already placed orders or maybe Ckd bookings might start before even assembly starts like proton is doing with its ckds

I checked with lyallpur and they aren’t offering bookings I also heard lounge aren’t giving bookings either

Thanks for sharing details. MG HS comes with sealed battery. There is no reason for ACID LEAKING.

Again there is no reason to remove the post from Facebook group. LOL, that so called fan club group is heavily controlled by MG people and they dont like hearing complaints.

MG JW has started importing stuff for its assembly plant now I hope it starts soon

The vehicle had a battery issue. MG Pakistan replaced the battery and repainted the panels affected inside the engine bay

This case was discussed a month ago in MG capital whatsapp group so it’s all been sorted

Now next would be what model they are doing CKD, how well equipped and built are these and what would be the pricing on CKD.

I have heard and not sure how true it is, MG will assemble the pickup and the 7 seater SUV as both models are essentially same under the skin so, two models will come out. As of HS, things are not very clear. Let's see

The pickup and suv are certainly the next in line although I do think Hs will also be made as it’s the most popular car from its lineup here and has a lot of hype in the market

How conveniently they put the entire onus on the transportation without investigating. I am sure if the client himself drove it from Karachi to Islamabad and the same thing happened, they would have blamed the client's driving skills.
