They are unable to deliver Jan, Feb bookings so how come August bookings fulfillment in October?? Maybe they mean Oct 2022?? These are the things which will not help MG..no matter how good the product is..

Can anyone tell me wats the delivery month if i book mg hs next wk?
I would request MG HS owners to guide me please on fol aspects:-

• Use of hi-octane fuel in MG HS; is it fuel sensitive?? Can it run smoothly on normal petrol bcz in northern (KPK Districts) & Southern areas (Balochistan) we have ltd aval of hi-octane fuel (im presently stationed in Qta and my village is one of KPK districts)

• 3 S Dealership across Pakistan whats the condition of 3 S dealership of MG HS; are they well established? status of availability of running spares parts?

• Maintenance Cost Is the maint cost less in comparison to Kia sportage/ tucson ?

they are blatantly lying , i went to MG sialkot showroom the other day. Ready deliveries were available for 64 lacs. They don't even hide it, i asked what if i booked? They said you are likely to get very soon as we are delivering may deliveries at the moment , on further inquiry they said may be in december or january.

Helo everyone. I'm here on a purpose as I'm.interested in buying it but had a discussion with a previous owner n he dishearten me by pointing out to prominent issues going in with mg.
1-loses power While going uphill
2-vwry poor fuel average.
I own civic turbo since the time it was introduced n there is no such issue in it n fuel average is amazingly good.
Does anybody have any idea or info regarding it, please guide.
This request is esp referred to Mr. Fazal wahab coz I'd read him the time when civic turbo was heavily jeopardised n his were the balanced views even in those times...

I I highly doubt ur getting a good mileage from a turbo car......u should opt for a vezel ...it shows much better mileage because its a hybrid....... otherwise if ur looking for a HS or a Tucson or a sportage .....fuel shouldn't be ur concern

For the amazement of the ones who're doubtful, if I tavel from lahore to isb or mtn, mixed average which I use to get is 18 @ a cruise between 110-130 n occasionally i use to cross 20 n unfortunately I couldn't find pic which is obviously there in my record. However next time when I'll have a plan to have a long travel, will take a snap shot again for the satisfaction of few..

What average does it give within City driving with AC on? And does it require high octane 24/7 or just a mixture of normal + high octane will do the job?

Never used hi octane(maybe rarely) n AC always remains on. Now a days getting 10 within congested traffic conditions n many times standing with engine on due to intense heat but in normal city conditions, I used to get around 11/12. From normal I mean if you have to drive more kms within city esp, avg uses to be better than when you're just to drive few kms where stop intervals become obviously long.

Could you also comment on the overall build quality such as alignment of panels (bumpers, hood, doors, fenders, quarter panels), cabin insulation, any unfortunate incident of rusting or such, door closing sound and most importantly the plastic quality used in the interior, do they kind of go inside and make crak cheek cheek noises like in Civic or Corolla? I've heard in a Pakwheels review that sound system is mediocre, can you confirm that as well?

It's not an ideal piece of shit, obviously has many issues but it depends, how you perceive them. Actual thing is the visual feel before your eyes, if something looks pleasant to your eyes, it's fine whether it's plastic, metal or soft padding or any other thing of concern coz you aren't to get touch effect everytime you sit in the car. I'm having this for almost 5 years faced some issues too which annoyed me like evaporator, I got changed twice n 2nd time, not the genuine one which is working fine even than the genuine one.
I really am a sound loving person n I felt civic always ahead in terms of sound quality n same I feel with this model although I rate previous generation on upper slot to this one but its way better than Toyota n if you feel some issues, you should download some player on your mobile where you can find more equaliser options, it works even fine n eradicates many glitches.
