OS upgraded to Windows 10 mobile (Insider Preview).

1.2 Ghz Dual core processor with 'Qualcomm Snapdragon 200' SoC and Adreno 302 GPU. The competitors come with cheap quality MediaTek or Spreadtrum SoCs.

-RAM.

1GB ram, which is more than sufficient to keep the phone lag free under multi-tasking. 1GB ram windows 8.1 phones have much better performance than entry level 1GB Ram laggy Androids, guaranteed!

2G and 3G enabled.

Windows 10 has brought some camera improvements and now its much better.

Double tap on screen to wake up, just like LG or power button can be used.

-SENSORS.

GPS, Accelerometer, Proximity and light sensor (auto brightness).

GPS, Proximity and light sensors are usually missing in competitors models.

Ram consumption.

Comparing 1GB Ram Androids and 1GB Ram Windows phone 8.1, Androids have more than double Ram consumption than these, thats why entry level Android phones have lagging issues due to insufficient Ram.

All the apps running are stored in Ram.

Customizable themes and color schemes.

Screenshot with light background and Teal color theme. I wonder why can't we customize poor TouchWiz.

People can ask me anything about Window phones, even if not interested in buying this, as lots of people have no idea about Window phones.

So its gonna give some exposure to Window phones and their features. They are much better than I expected.

Microsoft's Project Astoria has leaked letting Windows 10 Mobile sideload Android APKs directly.

Now Android applications can be installed on Windows 10 mobile.

Successfully upgraded to Windows 10 (Insider Preview) on Microsoft Lumia 430. It is much lighter than Windows 8.1 and there are lots of user interface, performance and camera improvements etc.

To upgrade to Windows 10 mobile (Insider Preview), you need to install and register in an app 'Windows Insider' from Windows store. Its free.

Android apps (apks) can be sideloaded to Windows 10 mobile.

Lol. Some general info about WP was provided so that the people would know that they are much better (faster) than entry to mid range Androids.

That's already sold for 5000. Demand was high, but negotiable. OLX has way too many buyers. But i would sell my Core Prime 4G (10/10 scratchless) to mobile shop, as that's easier.

Windows 10 mobile will capture the market in entry to mid range phones very soon.

I have used windows phones in the past. But they lacked plenty of things which android had made users take for granted.

For example 1 thing that really got to me was that in the event of a disconnection in internet, all apps would no longer sync in the background. So if i got a message on whatsapp during the no internet time, i will not get the notification until i open whatsapp.

This happened with every app.

It was a major concern when it did this to emails as well.

So i decided to move back to android.

I have used windows phones in the past. But they lacked plenty of things which android had made users take for granted.

For example 1 thing that really got to me was that in the event of a disconnection in internet, all apps would no longer sync in the background. So if i got a message on whatsapp during the no internet time, i will not get the notification until i open whatsapp.

This happened with every app.

It was a major concern when it did this to emails as well.

So i decided to move back to android.

That has to do more with built in battery saver thing. You have these options in Windows phone 8.1 and 10.

1) Allow/disallow apps to run in background (or sync) .

2) Allow/disallow apps to run in background (or sync) even with battery saver on.

With battery saver on, the default setting is not let any app run in background (or sync).

1) or 2) was the reason of the problem you faced. Because it annoyed me with same thing too the first day of use, so i reconfigured it and it was good then.

If we configure this setting, it gets perfect, guaranteed.

Windows 10 mobile is very different and better than previous versions.

The simple thing to remember is, get atleast 2 GB ram Android phone (like the one you have) or get a windows phone if the budget is low, i.e under 20000.

In least price, the best, speedy and lag free phone are no doubt the WP. They come with pre-installed bloat, but it can be easily uninstalled.

The buyer of Lumia 430 tested it against his Grand Prime under heavy web browsing, multitasking and gaming. Grand Prime, being a 1GB ram Android phone started lagging and Lumia 430 didn't. It was quite shocking for both of us [emoji1].

That's how fast they are!
