^^ Thats my car guys. I ended up getting the tank filled up at 606Kms and it topped 29.96 Liters. The total tank capacity is 34 liters.

I have the car for almost a year now and it has never let me down. Have been getting constant mileage of between 18-20 and bear in mind that this is still a 4WD variant for which people usually tend to say it consumes a lot more fuel than normal 2WD.

Mira's fuel tank is 36L, 4wd has 34L. Each fuel mark is for 4 liters, last one, the reserve is 8 liters.

I live in Islamabad my office is in F-6. Anyone who has doubts on the mileage please come and sit with me. I will refuel and we will run it for like 200kms where ever you like.If its less than 23 i will take you to Monal for a free dinner. I it is then you have to pay for the both fuel refills.

I m getting 23 boys. When i purchased the car it was 67000km driver. first tank gave like 18, I was driving like mehran.. accelerating hard in the 3rd gear...Then changed style to a 660 and started engaging 5th gear. Cleaned fuel tank, filter, used carb cleaner, changed two oils after 1000kms (ZIC A+) and mileage improved. Who much you get largely depends on how you drive. I drive like nuts, 100-110. Yesterday on Motorway asked younger drive to drive and instructed not to cross 90. He drived for 115 or so kms. CAR DID 26 km/liter.(H) I am not kidding seriously.
Most AT transmission here are 3 gear and 3 gear and 5 gear does have a lot to do when it comes to Milage. 3AT max can give 18 at 90km/h. I bought this car only because of the manual transmission.

The other thing is car should be in tip top condition with every thing working at optimum level.

I stand corrected.

Regarding the mileage, you people seriously need to get your cars checked. If its a 3/4 AT (Mira) car even then it should be around ~15+- (given you don't drive like a maniac).

People who say that mira gives crap mileage may have some fault in their cars. my Mira cvt gives 13-14 in city with AC and 20+ on motorway with light foot about 100 kmph average. Also the mileage is greatly affected by how u drive and the oil u have. I usually use ZIC or PETROMIN.

Ok let me share my experience with daihatsu boon/passo 1000cc AT. When I bought it last winter, its average was 16.5 in city without ac. Now it has stabilized to 12.5 just because of dirty fuel and air....both things combust in the engine. ... I use mix of hobc. Its awesome maxhine, excellent pickup, comfortable ride, spacious interior compared to my corolla and smooth as silk. Last week, I tried on my solo naran trip. 1400KM trip with 100 plus speed on motorway, 60% ac on, about 50km on a steep branch road near balakot, it averaged 16.5. 23% better than xli corolla.

No offense to OP but it is hard to believe that a 660 cc can give 22. Though MT but there was his friend on board as well. A 660cc engine at 70 plus is at high rpm and will drink fuel like a drunk. Similarly a 1000cc engine should drink at 100plus.

My neighbour was praising his 660cc alto "it was climbing like a cheeta with whole family on its back in murree nathiagali". After 2 months he sold cheeta and bought passo 1000cc and the car is with him for the last two years. I have read a lot of other threads on 660cc praising the dream consumption but in real life people say "its just comfortable. ..consumption is 10 plus in city"

OP don't mind..... I am just sharing my experience like you did. Last year I was also looking for 660 car but ended up buying 1000cc boon from a direct importer at same price at which dealers on jail road were selling 660cc cars by telling "small engines give 18 in city and on highways even 24".......

Some people take things too simply... You need to increase ur own knowledge rather than sharing uninformed views.

Answers to ur questions

Mira 660cc punches around 50+ horses, similar to a carby cultus or alto... It's not under powered.
CCs dont represent power, better compression ratio does.

Ur passo is auto and it has lesser gears, different gear ratios... Its much heavier too.

660 ccs come with 3 speed 4 speed automatics with 2wd and 4wd.... Now before quoting ur friends examples here, plz tell which one did he had? How he's sure if he says he has the 2wd, 4 gear one... Bcoz they give gr8 mileage.

These cars are designed for euro 4 and 5 standards, and need good fuel... Plz use high octane mix in them

A blocked CAT often results in poor mileage n response...

ps. Iv got 15.5 km/ltr from 660cc alto 3 gear automatic in city with semi fast driving.

660 ccs have proven their power and fuel efficiency many times... Plz check their international fuel consumption stats too. (company claims and govt tests) Now all those who complain need to learn something about cars and get off this forum bcoz they know **** ebt cars and we really dont want their misguiding reviews...

Yes stuff for these JDM cars is expensive. A colleague got a headlight for 16k back in January so might have increased to 20 now.

They all might have bought shitty cars from dealers without proper inspection...

PS. 20,000Rs for head light is more of a rumor. If thats what repairing wuld have costed then u wouldnt have seen even a single accidented JDM getting restored! Some people only making others fool by selling these at 20Ks...
I dont remember who told me but someone got a headlight for 6Ks.

Agree.. I bought this car after complete inspection and vitrification...I researched a lot before feeting out to the market..i knew what i want. I over paid few thousands but satisfied and the car came out what the dealer claimed. I don't know if you people know that lot of these cars are bought accidented and are repaired here plus meter is reversed... so if a cars fuel filters or sensor or injectors or timing chain/belt have completed their lives so how can they give the desired mileage. There's no doubt Mira is the most fuel efficient car in the market.

The dealers have all the stuff, they have machs, denters painters who know these car...My Mira's wiper motor wasnt working and the dealer guy opened with some real sense and I got replacement motor for 1500 rupess.. parts of the 2010 alto are expensive as they are not yet that common in the market.

Totally agree with you..well described... Let me share with you...I had two trips to Motorway on Mira and .....after the Kalkahar turns there's uphill on both sides....Mehran and cultus were going at 70-80-90 and i was overtaking at 110 easily...

If a car at 120km/h in third gear (3/AT) and the other is in the 5th, there's going to be a consumption difference.

Car needs to be diagnosed for mileage problem...

How do people drive these sh-it things and why do they buy them???

Extremely pathetic clutch!! A lot of silly play in throttle padel!! Extremely hard to turn steering wheel!! AC blower is noisey as hell, AC refused to cool when I first turned it on in a traffic jam, threw hot air... Latter it worked when the car was moving (same fx mehran wali problems even in 2013!??? 0.o) horn would go dim after running a few kms.. as If the battery wasn't been charged properly! Head light pointing here and there but not on the road!! The car wobbled above 70-80km/hr! Extremely cramped, pathetic seat height and sitting position! No space in cabin and that piece of bull sh-it came for fukin 1050,000Rs!!!

And then people say jdm is crap...!! Duh....
Jdm is drive, joy, freedom and features that even Civic doesn't has in 7-8 lac ruppees!!

Blv me my bike is more comfortable and drives effortlessly than that shitty cultus!! :s and m not exaggerating!
