Missing Problem Mehran

dears, i've got mehran 2006. Till yesterday, it was having ignorable missing problem on petrol. I start it on petrol every morning and it use to have little missing (but not much), but once it got warmer, the missing was ignorable (almost zero). But yesterday i took it to Garage Master for tuning. They took around 1 hour to tune it, replaced air filter, fuel filter (near the rear left tyre) and also put oil in carborator and recommended me to drive it on petrol only for a few days....but after tuning it is missing more than before, now on both CNG and petrol!!! I am not versed with mechanical problems so kindly tell me what should be done? Should I service the carborator? Also please suggest me some mechanic located in Islamabad for this? i really want the missing to be gone

there could be many possibilities for missing my mehran used to have small knock on petrol but on CNG it was normal
u must check the fowling things
1 Plug wires: most of the time wires are cut in places due to wear and tear and if this problem is identified then i suggest to go for ultima 8mm which cost approx Rs 650/-
2 Plugs:if ur car has plugs which came from factory never replaced then probably change them too a nice way to test is to take it to a mech and ask him to change plugs to a worn set who he has and check if problem is there or not if its solved then go for NGK V power approsx Rs 400/-
3 Distributor: check the point in distributor if its worn might need to replace it
4 Carburetor :check carb Jets they might need to be cleaned

thanks ekdrifter, nice suggestions that I'll keep in mind. for now, i went to them again and they re-tuned the car, now the missing is gone now the only problem remains is that it turns off when slowed down (like for signals) on CNG, rest is fine...any suggestions???

Ask them to inc-rise a little bit Race from idle knob in carb just a tiny bit as if its too much then car will give bad AVG

i went to another mechanic afterwards, he tried to set the cng, after 5 min drive same happened again...car started to stop as soon as slowed down, then i returned to him and he did nothing but replace my (brand new) airfilter with a used one...since then the problem is gone. So he suggested me to try this for a day or two and replace the air filter. I should mention here that the filter that was replaced was original GUARD filter and brand new...i dont know how but it solved problem

It means air filter housing is not properly seated on carburetor or there is a leakage in housing because of this excessive amount of air entering in carburetor and disturbing the fuel ratio.
Some times, this problem also arises because of improper venturi seating.

well same happend to me and the problem was tappets when ever i changed air filter it happened to my X car
they might put tape on the intake and try to solve this problem i suggest go to ECRON facility and get ur mehran tuned by computerized setup i don't know about ur city where it is but try them as there are many renounced CNG experts in Peshawar and all failed on my mehran only computerized running did the job

am located in islamabad...as I already mentioned i had the car tuned from Garage masters, they have computerised tuning, but their tuning failed twice, first time fuel filter and air filter was changed, second time condensor of distributor changed but the problem not resolved, then i went to another mechanic...khadda market...but problem of stopping on slow never resolved then for the 4th time went back to khadda market he replaced the new air filter with an older one and asked me to try this. Since then though it vibrates on slow but does not shut off. Now i want to again replace the air filter but afraid if the problem occurs again...
