Nothing as such. Provided if it's dried from any petrol in the joints and lubed well. Nothing will happen. Petrol is excellent and cheap alternative to kerosene to remove the sand particles from chain.

It is dangerous untill u properly lubricate with a fine quality grees after washing the chain with petrol.
What petrol does when chain is washed with it. It cleans the chain very well but it also washed out the grees frm every joint of chain which left the joint dry and exposed to friction. It is necessary to use tooth bursh or any other way to proper grease the chain after washing.
That was my statement about chain wash.

No grease is applied on chains of most bikes sold here moreover if any is applied its contaminated with fine dust partials which acts as a abrasive.

Best is to dip the chain after washing thoroughly with petrol in thick gear oil and warm it slightly or let it in sun light for few hours so that it pemetrates fully in all cavities then take it out and let excess oil dribble out of it and use it . and it's recommended to remove the chain from bike for doing so.

Thats great. I have some basic tools and also do basic maintenance by my self. Most of the mechanics use wrong tools and they damage the parts.

Brothers,
Can you all suggest which parts need to be made available as spares ?
Keeway has given me a list of parts which is about 150 in number and they have listed % also.
But I would like to have your input as to which parts are more frequently replaced here ?
I can also upload the list if thats more convenient.
Should I ?
