I just bought a Nissan Dayz Roox (same as EK Wagon) 2014 model which is apparently imported grade 4 and driven very less in Pakistan. The meter shows that it is driven 48k. The car's overall condition and engine sound also says the same. But obviously we have lots of funkars so can't be too sure about it. I bought it from first owner who says he got it imported through a friend. And it came driven more than 42k from Japan. He kept it for 4 months and had to sell it for money.
There are three issues I am facing while driving this car:
1. Car's pick is abysmally low and I have a huge feeling it's cat convertor needs to be cleaned. My question is that is it common for the cat convertor to be blocked even though car is less than 50k driven? I will get it cleaned anyway. But just want your opinion on this. Additionally, I believe it's tapets also need to be adjusted? I also own a Suzuki Palette (same as previous version of Roox) and it had same problem and despite cat cleaning and tuning it did not fix the issue, but then I finally got its tapets adjusted from a kharadiya and then it started working normally but by then the damage to engine was done and now its engine is weak (any ideas on how to improve its fuel efficiency and pick?). So based on my past experience, I feel I should get the tapets readjusted as well. But looking for your suggestions.
2. The car's fuel average is very low. It's hardly able to give me 11km/l in normal rush with few signal stops on the way driving from Isb to Rwp. It has to be run with orange light but when it's in the range of 40kmph speed then I can drive with max 2 eco lights. Reason is low pick. I want to ask do I need to get its gear oil changed as well as I don't know when it was last changed?
3. Lastly, it's auto-stop feature works but only within 5-10 mins of my starting the car. After that, even if I am running the car for more than 1 hour, I can't get it to auto-stop (eco-idle stop) on a signal etc. I do see the battery charging symbol when I press the break, but my feeling is that it's battery is not appropriate. My question is that I need to get the main car battery with engine checked or the one that comes with what is apparently called the mini-hybrid system which is beneath the rear seats?
For all three points above, what kind of costs am I looking at? And can you please tell me a trustworthy knowledgeable mechanic in twin cities who can do all the above for me?
