Mitsubishi EK Wagon - Maintenance

Hello Pak Wheelers,

I recently bought Mitsubishi EK 660CC on 24th December. I am new to cars and I don't have much of the experience with the cars. I bought this one (Mitsubishi EK 660CC) considering the suggestions of my office colleagues and friends who already have cars. Up till now car is behaving and responding quite well and above my expectations (Obviously it is reconditioned as mush as new). I am loving this. Below are my questions, if anybody could reply with detailed answers, I will give him treat in Lahore wherever you will ask in Lahore because I live in Lahore (I am serious :D:D)

1. I wanted to know the fuel control best practice (I know about soft paddle and smooth drive etc) but if there is anything else, please share with me.
2. What is the average fuel consumption especially in Lahore traffic?
3. What are maintenance parameters? I know about engine oil, filters, tires etc but if you could explain a bit more, I shall be very grateful to you.
4. Where are the best mechanics available for Japanese cars? The dealer warned me not to give this car or any other Japanese car into any ordinary mechanic's hands? Is it true? Where can I find a good mechanic for Mitsubishi EK, if I need to, hopefully I won't need that sooner but still, you know ...
5. Can I increase the height of this car for about 6 inches or more? You know the speed killers/Car destroyers I mean speed breakers in Lahore ...

Congrats on your new purchase.. JDMs are fun to drive and own.
Regarding Fuel Consumption:
As per my analysis, Total Petrol pump @ M.M Alam Road has the best Petrol of Lahore.. My car always give better mileage when fueled by that pump.. You already know soft pedal pressing and smooth drive.. Now do coasting as well.. Lets say you see the traffic light turning red while being few hundred meters away, You can always put the car in Neutral gear and let it coast till the stop line..I personally do this..(InshAllah Afaaqa ho ga) Lolzz.
In Lahore's traffic you,ll be getting around 14.5 - 15.5km/l these days as A/C is off.
Maintenence Parameters include. Regularly changing oil + oil filter, Getting the throttle body serviced.. Valve clearance setting (Tappets)..Air filter replacement.. Brake servicing.
You need to change the spark plugs if you havent changed till now. Dont just buy and put the plugs rite away, Get the Gap Adjusted as per your engine requirements. Plugs never come PRE-GAPPED.. They need to be gapped as per the engine requirement.
The work required determines the need to take it to any roadside mechanic or to a specialized one. Lets say you need to get tune up. You can go to any good mechanic regrdless if he has worked before on any japaneese car.. But lets say you need to get some critical thing done, then visit an experienced wshop.
Dont change the height of your car. Alot of things would be disterbed with increasing the height such as : Camber settings / braking / side slip / Thak Thak sound while bouncing off speed breakers. NOT RECOMMENDED

All the imports as a rule are driven above 100K kms, doesn't matter what the dealer or relative you bought it from told you. So the best thing to do is to get all fluids changed (which is due far before you got the car)so that the car is good for the next 40K kms and you get the best performance our of it. This would include transmission oil / brake oil / coolant also along with the regular service that most mechanics do here.
Btw, is you ek 3 forward or 4 ?
