which engine is in it... body part wont be easily available i guess... engine parts might be depending on the engine in it...

I not 100% +ve but I guess it's an EFI engine.

I am not so concern about the resale value because I believe that things would change in next 2-3 years (as was the case with Vitz) but my main concern is about the availability of parts.

engine parts...no idea...

Since the engine is not the same found in Pajero Mini..

the eK comes wid 2 engines:
a)3G63 Inline 3 cylinder SOHC NAturally Aspirated 660cc...this is a Dual Carb engine..
b)3G63 Turbo EFi...this is a DOHC 15 valve engine...
Here i'll tell you this engine holds the record for the smallest engine with 5 valves per cylinder!

The pajero mini has an inline 4 engine..4A30!

No need to worry, this is one of the best model in mini cars/vans. So, if you wish to buy go for it. It is the best in this price range and I am enjoying it a lot. As far as parts is concern so sab kuch miljata hay ya phir koi na koi jugaar to lag hi jata hay. The matter is that you must drive carefully, respect/care your car and in response it add more respect in your personality.

The Car is Outstanding...my 2 friends bought this....believe me NONE of the spare parts is available...literally NONE....dealers just bark k sultan ka kho bhara para hai, aik dost nay shocks change karanay thay, kho say 6,7 shocks laga k kisi unknown gari kay shocks r springs lagay...cosmetic parts tu sirf r sirf import karanay partay hain, oil, air filters are also nt available...if somebody is sure that its parts are available, he must share the name of that particular shop...yeh nai k sher shah bhara para hai....

I have just bought ek couples of days ago and every part is easily available. i have changed oil filter, plugs, air filter and brake pads. I bought these things from rehmania autos gawalmandi.

I have ek wagon 2007 model fresh import its full option car with dvd navigation. Does anyone of u have this car with this option. Kindly let me know .................

Mine problem is while i release the hand brake the video on the dvd screen is removed only u can hear audio. Any one have any idea about that problem plz help

What about the mileage/liter of EK, and what about body parts situation in Rawalpindi/Islamabad...

Its looks a better car then boot shape cars and I have no idea regarding its body/spare parts and availability in Rawalpindi/Islamabad.

I have purchase mitsubishi ek 2007 . Its amazing car. I have changed oil filter, air filter and plugs. All these are easily available in faisalabad too. Tell me about its fuel consumption and which gear oil should i use in it. Because i waant to change it too.

Mileage/Liter depends upon how you drive high rev. and paddle flooring could drop your mileage to 10km/l and if u drive smooth and accelerate at a slower pace you will get something in between 18km/l - 22km/l. If your car has been driven more than 50,000 Kms then get you catalytic converter inspected, choked cat. converters also kill mileage.
