The circled area: The rubber patti on door still seems like un even when zooming the pic.
i have doubts about the back tires alignment. Either the height of the car is in correct or the wheels are misaligned. can u post proper pics of both side wheel arches,

And now the squared marked area. it is still undone?

Yes I am going to buy the front new bumper today. This one looks really bad. The radiator is not fitting bolt on @nnabeel the previous owner altered the original brackets. The brackets are not final uptill now.

And in the last pic the electrician is rinsing the electrical terminals of back lights to remove rust...

@nnabeel bhai the front rail under the lights will be painted with the bumpers. the door you have pointed out was not closed just put to shut and no the rubber has not been fixed yet it is the job in the end. alot of garnish is not fixed. I will check the alignment of the rear tyre and share pics. The height of the car needs to be adjusted since i have removed the CNG Cylinder and new dampers and shocks are in order,

Used my whole lunch break in find the new front bumper at Plaza today. Even my boss is into my craze and now constantly asks about which stage the car is in. No luck for the new bumper but will have to take to a bumper repair Wala who will properly fit and fix this one so it can and remaining can. Be painted.

To my surprise after four months the car started in a single click and was an absolute gem at idling. After 4 months I was surprised no smoke no smells at all.

Anyways next step is repairing the bumpers and taking then the poshish.

Dash board and wiring completed today. Thanks to Allah the electrician was not a typical jackass and the wiring was perfect even better than it was before (plaza say mashallah) a downside was the digimeter isn't working so had to find a simple one..

Sir why dont you pull some strings in Peshawar and get genuine parts from there.... Repair works will affect its look , most of our denters' work show its naivety after a few months and car starts loosing its beauty ...

By the way I am regularly following this thread and would love to see the shining beauty with all gadgets intact ...

Sir I have a string named @dayrider he has helped me alot with this. The bumper is available at Shershah Karachi, will have to take out some time to go go there. I am also not willing to install the old one it is in a pretty bad state..

The car is now parked at my friend's place who lives very near to the denter's garage. Will take it to the bumper Wala and the seat maker tomorrow.

The engine is working fine just the rocker cover seal is a gone case..

Wow. Masha ALLAH. now that more like it. The look has started to take shape after rubbing. take care for the following:

get the bumpers out and service them. take them away while he paints them so body per spray k nishanaat nahee aengeey.
take out the back lights, number plate lights and fender indicators. while rubbing the cream gets in and depicts a bad look. your car is black so u will find its traces when the car is completed.

get the bumpers & side mirrors painted matt black and not the shiny one (just my opinion).

Have u took her for a spin. long test drive before paint or before rubbing just to check that she would let u know hows the drive and what need to be done. Ask the painter for another final touch of polish after getting minor needed work done like alignment, interior fitting etc because it will get dirty again.

pls confirm hows the lines visible after rubbing. if yes then its good if not then the painter didnt rubbed the body before applying paint. check the pics with arrows marked.

moreover, change the steering. although its the original lancer one, but go for the MOMO steering get it from magazine lane. u will get universal original momo wooden steering with three spokes, from shops near arif shop in 1500 to 2500 along with the horn kit.

Jazakallah @nnabeel Bhai. I have taken care about your suggestions. There is still alot to be done. The car is with the pohsish Wala now for about three days so can't do anything with it.

I have taken care all of the lines and the painter taped all the areas before getting to painting.

Yes all the fitting were taken out because you know the polish gets in to the corner areas.. bumpers look great now hope they look the same after a while.

All the suspension boots needs to be changed and the power steering needs to be services... The engine was leaking oil pretty badly but that is taken care off.

Have gotten the bumpers painted Matt black as you said and they look good...
