Mitsubishi Pajero 2002

The Mitsubishi Pajero diesel engine was replaced with Toyota 5VZ-FE petrol engine. But the fuel consumption is not efficient. My question is, which engine should I opt for to get the most fuel average. Suggestions will be appreciated.

Did someone tell you that the toyota 5vz was fuel efficient?

the factory fitted diesel engine (4m40 or 4m41) would have the best fuel average
you would need to find a good SUV specialist mechanic to maintain the Pajero with its original diesel engine

it would be good if you get the 5vz engine swap checked by a specialist SUV workshop to check if there is any shortcomings in the swap that might be leading to poor fuel economy.

5vz is not considered a fuel efficient engine, what is your avg?

The car is in excellent condition overall... just some minor work in interior is needed (that too some wooden accessories for my own pleasure!). It's just a fuel guzzler because of which it not everyday use car.

You will need to discover/find out a true and genuine electrician for this to check if the swap is full and correct, once that is verified then the drivability issues will need to tackled.

By your childish question of “plz tell me good mechanic in khi” its proof enough that you bought this as “chota mota kaam sahee karalemge”

This is why I tell everyone to not buy a swap or do a swap unless you are a mechanic or want to become one.
