the petrol one is GDI(gasoline direct injection) and its totally flop in pakistan

I was just referring to the shape when I mentioned GDI. It is kind of a showroom term.

I would again say, petrol version is lots better than a diesel.
There have been very technical reasons, logics given.
I would keep it simple. Petrol engines ask for less maintenance. Those jeeps can be used for long period hence less risk of local ustaads playing with them.
Diesel has first and basic disadvantage of bad fuel. Hi-octane makes up for bad quality petrol but what will you do with diesel? Mechanics ruin those engines.

LC is a totally different league.
I won't advise a down model MB

@umarkhan1 & @haroon_tarar Come on guys. I'm trying to buy one of them Pajeros. This Little battle of your's is Playing a Full on Grand Finale in my mind. I still have no idea which one is better. I wish I could have bought either of em. As I can afford two of them with just a slight increase in my budget, But the Pajero doesn't seem to be a ride worth spending 5 mill on. I looked for the Rover, and it turns out that the shape I kinda found attractive was for 8 million. Sure I can't buy that space shuttle unless I join Politics or find some hidden treasure or something like that, you know what? Nobody always get what he/she wants.

If you are leaning towards gen3 pajero, try to go for 2002 + models. That was when traction control was introduced.

Sir, I have used both the vehicles, in petrol and in diesel. The petrol one is fun, quick yet very very thirsty and it has to be run with high octane to run completely problem free. As for the diesel version, its torquey and economical. It requires a certain treatment where they add a chemical to the fuel tank and its good to go for 50k problem free. My advise is, if you want to have fun on road, petrol(given you can afford to run on high octane), off-road, go for diesel

Yeah Bro! We figured that buying a 7 years old Tundra is a better option than a 13 year old Mitsubishi. At least the common parts are interchangeable with a LC, like the plugs, air filter, brake pads, and a regular oil change wouldn't cost more than 7-7.5k. And the purchase itself was a realtime bargain deal. The owner is a family friend and we know that he hasn't used the tundra much, the odo still has 33k on it. The only down side is the LHD, but our driver has worked as a cabbie in UAE for 4 years and till I get used to it, he is the one to take me anywhere.

The fact is that we own a Gas station near our village, and we are about to crack a deal for another one in karachi too, so it's no big deal. Alhamdulillah Fuel has never been a problem for us.

Village driving scenario. .. small road big buses etc how does one overtake...

Mostly we RHD guys peak out and duck in quicky if its a No Go....

Most village local roads are hardly wide enough for a tundra to drive on it.
Baaki traffic kithe jaye gi.

It surely is going to be tough.

On the other hand, it is a monster to drive.

Tundra is a lovely choice.
