I was just referring to the shape when I mentioned GDI. It is kind of a showroom term.
I would again say, petrol version is lots better than a diesel.
There have been very technical reasons, logics given.
I would keep it simple. Petrol engines ask for less maintenance. Those jeeps can be used for long period hence less risk of local ustaads playing with them.
Diesel has first and basic disadvantage of bad fuel. Hi-octane makes up for bad quality petrol but what will you do with diesel? Mechanics ruin those engines.
LC is a totally different league.
