^ thanks. The window trim you mentioned is not dried up. Its in original color and shape. I Don't expect that to happen on a car with 7K on odometer that too a german :-). I think the angle of picture and sunlight showing it a dull. VW bumper to bumper warranty till 75K miles. Even the led's on stop lamp and headlight is covered...

by the way transmission is shot in mazda 6 that i bought lol..
thank God i had warranty..dealer is putting in a new transmission..

yes used car is covered by 3 month warranty by used car dealer as well. I hope its fixed properly.

i didnt get anything in writing so pretty much for the last 20 days i was involved in a battle with the dealership..The only prove i had was the window sticker that clearly stated power-train is covered for three months or 3000 miles.

yesterday they left me a voice mail that they ordered a new transmission..which is gonna take atleast 5 days.. so i m thinking my car is out for 7 more days..
The transmission had a shift shock between 3rd and 4th gear and you really have to floor it in the 3rd gear to get that shock. pretty much car needs to change gear from 3rd to 4th at around 70mph. thats why i was not able to detect it in the test drive..

Alhamdulillah all is well now..
