Yes. Many times. I almost thought to get but .. The interior is crappy plasticky And overall not as much loved as VW
I am not saying speed 3 is bad car. Its s nice hatchback.
My wife drive her own car but if she has to drive the second car than I needed an auto. I was getting a good deal on Golf R, but didn't go for it as I needed an auto due to second driver at home who don't know manual.

I could have saved for gas for more than 2 year if I choosed speed 3.

Speed3 is 24500 while the trim I got is 29900 before taxes..

MS3 is a pretty good car, but it feels like it's trying to do too much. It has too much power IMO, and definitely feels bigger on the road when you compare it with a GTI. The GTI just does everything so well, it's basically the perfect FWD hatchback on sale.

Focus ST, though...... THAT is an amazing car. It's the only car in the category that can hold a candle to the GTI's handling. The only thing the GTI can't match the Ford on is power. The ST is bonkers!

The focus starts at 23k, but I think it can probably go as high as mid the 30's with all the options. I drove a Golf R for $37k (4 door with navi and sunroof), and I just can't justify close to $40k for a Golf. I guess if I'd have to spend $40k on a car, it'd something with a CPO warranty, and definitely better/faster than a Golf R. Sure the R is fun to drive and it feels really light and nimble, but it doesn't come cheap.
