Dear Fazalwahab

I have been silent viewer of your thread and enjoyng NY pics particularly posted on Page No 127-129.
I dont know whether or not its feasible for you, but if you could also lable important building pics (like on pages 127-129), it would be of enough info for us. Or, as you have done in some pics, also capture the building name plates.

these pics helps us to know:
unique designs:
of buildings,
windows,
doors,
entrances,
types of cars and building cranes, state of cleansing, shape and writings of signboards, streats maintenance, trend to keep the people informed on real time basis like traffic jams and parkings, road side food selling vehicles etc etc.

People like me r more interested in city and technology related pictures.

Keep up the good work. Its a base of knowledge for us. Tourism without travelling !!

Entrance to Queens County from Manhattan. NYC is divided into 5 boroughs. Queens Brooklyn Bronx Manhattan and Staten Island. Queens being the largest and the mist diverse county on this planet. Both major airport that is JFK and LGA are in Queens.

Fazal bro if some one hires a taxi in NY and ask an address that routes through a toll gate so who pays for that hefty toll. Are the cabs exempted from toll?

If some one calls a radio cab and what if the cab has to come via Toll gate then who pays for it?

Fazal Bhai, what I've noticed here is that some cars drive closely behind a car or a truck and somehow they are exempt from paying toll. Does it work at your end ?

It's added automatically to the fare. Cabs are GPS connected so as soon as cab cross any toll.. it's added to fare.

Between Manhattan and Queens there is a Midtown tunnel. Once passenger get onto cab. And if is going to Queens from Manhattan or from queens to Manhattan. . The cab driver by law ask the passenger if he want to go via a tunnel or a bridge which is without toll but always congested. If passenger agree they go via Toll. Mind you there is a 25 cent per certain time increment on your fare when the cab get stuck in traffic.

Between NY and NJ there is no such option. You need tp go vis bridge snd tunnel. Intresting fact is Going out of NY to NJ there is NO toll but the passenger pay the toll which is added to his fare manually at end of trip. REASON: NYC cabs are not allowed to pick up passenger from NJ to NY.. so he will come back khali haat. Cab driver tells passenger that a 12 dollar toll will be added to fare. If he agrees the cab take him to NJ.

all FDNY ambulances as well as NYPD have an ezpass. And they pay the tolls. Though it's adjusted against their departments. No one can cross without paying the toll.. there are multiple cameras who will take your picture and you will receive a nice mail in your mailbox..
