Anybody knows where in Islamabad I can get it

Brother you can buy Mobil 1 from Mobil 1 Lube shop at I/10/3, shop 5, Street 1 Phone: 4441306.

Its available in 5W50 grade for approx Rs. 3,900/-.

Its a waste of money since its good only with Mobil 1 filters which you will not find in Pakistan.

Thanks bro for the info. Well i am switching to Mobil1 so that I dont have to change oil every 5K and to switch to a synthetic brand. Mobil1 by far is the best known brand for synthetic oils around the world. I had an Audi A4 before and Audi recommended Mobil1 synthetic oil

Brother I am not disagreeing to any of the above.

I am just saying that you have to pair the Mobil1 or any synthetic with equally good oil filter to get 10K protection like Audi OEM oil filter or FRAM ultra which wu\ill cost you another 2,500 rupees.

The local 300 rs guard filter will not last in your corolla even for 4,000 KM even the oil still remains good for next 2-3 oil changes.

Even better oils than Mobil 1 like Amsoil, Royal Purple, Penzoil, Valvoline and Liqui Moly are available in Karachi.

Currently using Total 9000 Future, but also interested in Mobil 1, but i am agreed that Mobil 1 is not available here in 5w30 but 5w50 % 0w40.

Use Zic A+ it is best for your car. Havoline is also pretty good use fully synthetic the drain interval is 6k to 8k

Most of the people recommending & trying to find the “Mobil-1”.
Well this is perhaps among best engine oils. But….. but…. But……., original Mobil-1 is absolutely not available in Pakistan anymore now. Few years back original mobil-1 (Made in usa) was available in Pak., but then a local company has its distribution. And now there are many small distributors sitting over in Karachi who are packing Caltex or Shell’s oil into Mobil-1 boxes. So never believe on this oil any more.

Shell, Caltex, Castrol, Toyota, etc. all are being re-packed in Pak. And we can’t believe the Quality of these oils any more. FYR, I used to use Toyota’s Petron, Zic’s OW, even Toyota’s 10-30, Sinopec, Zippex, etc. etc. but believe me, all these oils are full of **** and Engine’s performance is not perfect as it has to be.

These days there is a new company in Pak. trying to make its position in other oil companies. Its called “Performa”. Produced by PTT (Petroleum Authority of Kingdom of Thailand). Yet PERFORMA don’t have re-packing in Pakistan. Its new and hence distributers are supplying original oil in market.
They only have 4 types of Engine oils as follows

Performa 20/50 Partially Synthetic ~ Rs. 1800 Change after every 3000 miles.
Performa 10/30 Semi Synthetic ~ Rs. 2500 Change after every 4000 miles.
Performa 5/40 Synthetic ~ Rs. 3000 Change after every 6000~7000 miles.
Performa 0/40 Super Synthetic ~ Rs. 3700 Change after every 7000~8000 miles.

Super Synthetic (0/40) is the best imported oil available in Pakistan for New Cars (running till 30~40K)
After 30~40K, simply switch to Performa’s Synthetic 5/40. You will feel your Car very happy with this oil.

This informations are upto Sept. 2013. Maybe in the coming months, we have more best options available w.r.t. oils. But for the time, Performa’s 0/40 & 5/40 are the super excellent oils available among all other companies.

Brother,
We are just like small fish even in Lahore and don't have any other branches.
And frankly, I am not in oil biz either. I do a separate my own job. But as most of the time at evening I spend with brother at his shop, that why got little informations about Oil and willing to deliver it to as many people as I can.

Synthetic oils are getting popular in market and in the last two years we've able to sold nearly 5K Gallons of Synthetic oils in less than 2 years. But some people are still tightly stitch with old fashion of using heavy oils like 20/50 even in the new cars. And its hard to change their mentality. Anyway...

Well you have XLI ran 33K,
My suggestions are

Performa's Fully Synthetic 5/40 (Presently I am using this oil in my Passo and its really v. happy).
Or
ZIC's OW

In my recent posts I am continuously emphasizing to use "PERFORMA OIL". Because presently its not being re-packed here in Pakistan. While all other oils like Caltex, Castrol, Total, Shell, Toyota, etc. are just making people believe that they are best through different advertisements. But infact they are just making huge profits (Specially Toyota) and are less concerned with Engine's actual technology, terminologies & needs. Because they simply understand our people's mentality.

We all know that Mobil Askari Lubricants is a giant name and Mobil 1 is imported by them from Malaysia having genuine flying horse trademark.
