Where have you been. have seen this section of 4x4 in PW and got so depressed to see that only us KHI members are the ones who are far left behind. no activities in forum here, no get togethers no meetings etc. Suggestions are welcome from your side and other 4x4 enthusiasts in Karachi for taking this forward and stand besides other clubs and members.

ive been silently observing/ reading this thread and other MUTT related threads on Pakwheels and i have a question to all you mutters driving them with rims and chubby tyres. what did you do with the suspension, My ustaad tells me a standard suspension cant really bare rims and fat tyres for very long.

any help would be appreciated, My cars still in the build process so i would like to sort this out before i get it road ready. any and all help will be appreciated.

Anything beyond standard would/could have an impact on i) the suspension & ii) the steering box. If its too much resistance, you'd damage the already weak & worn steering box, increasing 'play'. Going far out (by wide tires) would increase your footprint and spread your weight further apart than the standard arm and spring load. Thus, if and when the suspension goes weak, the weight of the engine would sag the center of the vehicle and cause a + camber upfront. If you want to put radials, then stick as close to the standard width. If you are interested, there are a some very fine brand new Michelin tires at Bismillah Autos in Phase 2. The diamond pattern and they fit really well on the Mutt & look lovely too.

Thank You Sarmad for the response; i already have replaced the steering box or is it the column with that of a cressida and now its power steering without any play, the original one was quite nasty. the Axels now come from a 4x4 liteace both front and rear. i do currently have radials but im running it on standard suspension.

i was wondering if changing the coil springs and the hydraulic arms of the suspension (if thats what you call them pipe things) and using some aftermarket stuff from iron man or arb would do the trick.

i m going to add doors of suzuki potohar to my m151a2 dont know how it will look like but here r few pics of tht. i think i chose the wrong guy (denter) just coz tht workshop is near my house lets see how it will look after its finished more over i m going to extend the trunk by 6 to 8 inches in inclined so tht the angle of departure doesnt get effected.here is a youtube link of my mutt driven in my fish farm.

Hi, can anyone help me in buying MUTT? How can I get a cheaper one?

KZ, these are General tires, you'll find them at any tire shop in any city in the country. Excellent off road grip & I had them in my work-horse Wagoneer for years & till I sold it off. They wear off but then they are not expensive. I think the last I got them was at 8400 a piece 'panni pack' and they have better road grip than the NDCCs. With the kind of usuage on the Mutt they'll last long.

i had searched twin cities but cant find these tires, so i would be looking fws for ur help.
