now the problem is that a turbo is costing me too much, y not i just do the interior n sum other mods that'll actually cum in use??? after putting the turbo, wat will i do?? beat the rx8 once? twice, three times?? or even 100 times??? so i realized n said that theres no point for a guy like me to go so extreme in performance...

i suggest u stay away from street racing so that u live to drive a ferrai!

get a k20, some turbo, intercooler and stuff, and enjoy

@redbull, that was a tareef by storm bhai about the ferrari, otherwise i hav no plans to buy a ferrari

k20 is made of the 04 civic, n it comes in the 04 civic in thailand, malaysia etc, not the type r, the simple k20

My friend has a b16a civic, and that car HAS beaten a stock, automatic RX-8 in 1/4 mile. The Civic has an aftermarket fuel pump, an air flow regulator, headers, larger exhaust...

first of all
a b-series or a h-series wont fit the 01 and above models ,
there are no knows swaps of b/h in a 01 above civic and i dont think there are mounts made for these engines for these models , but i could be wrong
you dont want a turbo.

aftermarket pistons,cams,some headwork and nitrous , you'll beat the rx8

@petercharsi...a b and an h motor is a simple swap in the 01-05 civics....you must do some research online before making a categorical statement...lol

thats the beauty of honda motors...swaps made easy.

having said that however...not a whole lot of people do it for the reason being the 01-05 civics are still relatively new and are still under the 5-7 year Honda warranty.

second...the D17 motors have VTEC and already rated at 130 hp or so it is not a very big motivation (D16W9 for Pakistan which has same output i believe)

on of my club members (torontocivics) has a K swap and his car is damn fast....here is a pic..the damn motor is a JDM K20A (Type-R)

i thought of a b/h swap in a 01+ civic a while back .
i searched the net as you recommended and am still unable to find mounts made for 01+ above civics for b and h series engines specifically why people do k-series swaps,
i stand by my categorical statement lol

and yet there are countless k-series swaps done to the 7th Generation civic abroad.

however no swap is impossible,money and expertise can do anything , i guess with a lot of enginebay work and some major modifications you could fit the b/h series but its not done abroad for the amount of work and the fact these engines were made before the 7thGEN was launches so the swap would be ill-legal abroad.

so point being.
you cant do a bolton b/h swap in the 7thGEN civic or can you ?

v have checked our supercharged 98 vti @8 psi with Zs n uptill the end of third the z was able to give us a lead of two to 2.5 cars max, n i think that a stock 8 is a bit slower from the z coz i have seen them drag racing on street. Now v r working onto getting some more power.
The car has all the accessories(a/c n power steering, sterio etc of a regular vti) installed on it n is used as a daily car. It has forged pistons n the rods n crank is stock,n in this condition the engine has seen 14psi.
the list of mods includes, fly wheel, headers, minor head work,e.g, porting but no polishing, with stock pump n regulator n sub injectors.
The car is no where near the fastest tuned cars of lahore but it defenitly give smiles every time when ever the pedal is floored.

would u mind putting- up a little more details like which supercharger are u using? how do u drive the pully? is it a custombuilt? or a complete kit?

yes its the golden one.

Its a custom build kit with a SC14 n the pulley is being driven through the crank pulley as all of the supercharger get driven from there[:)]
