Hey guys,

Sup? Well, I spent my sunday sealing my wheel wells, here is something I wanted to share with everyone. I discovered heavy sound deadening on the floor but there was nothing on the wheel wells, that was the reason all the road noise transmitted form the wheels was getting into the cabin. Lets watch some pictures now.

(Crappy upload, i cannot post comments against each photo)

Will post about the results once I go out for a spin.

More photos from the drivers side, this was a little tough to do, after doing sealing I added third level of protection, have a look.

actually it wont kill the tire noise, i vl kill the surrounding noise only. for killing the tire noise & under body noise which is most due to air turbulence, you will have to do dynamating of body under the seats. carpets nikal kr. still gud effort sir. results will be way better now.

Koki boy you're right, I suppose under seats theres nothing, the problem is our cars don't come with good amount of sound deadening, therefore we need to do a lot in this department, and City lacks this a lot. We cannot eliminate the noise altogether, we can just reduce it to some level, thats it. And this is achieved so far, and I am happy.. Next step would be new rims and tyres, before I never considered this, Advan DB is on top of my list. I have Yokohama ES100 rotational, they were good but not as good as I want them to be, would sale them.

Thanks guys for appreciating what I have been doing and promoting..

You're right muneeb and talha, I felt it was hindering with the clutch paddle, then I had to pull back my mat back. Actually I tried to keep the pink stuff away from the paddles but then again some how the carpet got stretched or something. Pulling back mat helped me, and its fine now.. The stuff helped reduce some noise too.. Its not much but I feel the difference..

Hi Guys,

Time to finish sound deadening and start doing (a major) re-install. Recently completed my rear wheel wells, rear seats and rear deck. I still need to do rear doors, that's going to be the last step. Maybe second last cause I haven't done anything in my trunk so far. Here are some clicks, have a look.

Obviously Honda City does not have anything on the rear wheel wells, major road noise is transmitted via wheels.

Nothing under the seats either.

This is how it looks after deadening, its an easy job on the rear once you have ripped rear seats, before that, its hard.

Another view, pretty good haan..

Rear deck has nothing either, I don't have rear speakers but I always felt something is rattling back there, accordingly this needs to be taken care of.

Another view in the dark. I have partially damped it. Only where its required. Still need to do my rear doors therefore saving some sheets.

Hmm as you can see everything is ripped off, and I am doing the paper work..

Hmm the JBL MS8 project begins.. Wish me luck, and stay tuned for more updates..
