A similar reply I received and they confirmed the Diamond Finish, which they called Satin Shine, is the only legit KRX finish they ever manufactured.

I am waiting for my Utopia Degree 7 and 33WX V2, both arriving on 15th March, will post similar registration authentication here in my build thread so no one could point his finger at my gear in future.

Its all about personal preference. Some people like bright n lively sound, others want warm and laid back. N trust me if someone buys such high end stuff he knows how to use it and no offence but u r too much of a beginner to give such suggestion

I don't know if Utopia is bright or not, haven't used it myself, can only review it once I use it. Hmm I only spent my money to experience something different this time.

I have used almost every brand locally available, and settled down with Focal. To your further surprise, I quit audio for almost two years back in 2008-2009, some weird thing happened to me and I could not listen to any music, after I heard Focal, I felt I can pursue this brand further, never felt bright to my sensitive ears so far.

Post some reviews here, lets read what you have been reading. And 6 to 8 months is a lot of time to enjoy a system, I changed from KRX2 to KRX3 in less than that, God knows whats coming next for me in future. On DIY you always hear this, Focal is bright, why? Cause who review it as bright has never heard Focal in the first place.

Bhai thanx for ur concern, seems like u r a victim of bright speakers in the past. Jus for ur info, not only utopia but all focal range is slightly towards the brighter side. I makes sound more lively provided you have sufficient equalization and processing equipment. I've been listening to focal for one an half year now and it never makes me bore....infact laid back music can make u bore rather than lively music.

@harriz123 I have heard the brightest of speakers with 3 to 4 tweeters on them, back in the days when I thought 6x9 is the game, I got this Kenwood with 2 tweeters on it, I could not sit in my car. Plus people add extra tweeters to make things go even brighter. Point it, its your own liking.

Besides, Focal crossover coming with each set has tweeter level adjustment, kill 3db if you feel Focal is bright, kill 6db if still bright. No use? Go 30 degree off axis, no use? Go 45 and 90 degree off axis. I bet you can tame the Focal tweeter if you have the will, and the required knowledge.

Focal is bright, not harsh. It can be tamed. Hariz bhai ap pehle Beryllium ki history thori study karein, ap ne to mujhe bhi confuse kar dia hai. Will post some facts about Beryllium so everyone could read and learn from it.

u can read a million review and have a thousand people advice you. but sometimes when you hear something yourself, it throws all the reviews in the dust bin.

every person's prefrence is different. if they are bright,then there are people out there who like that kind of sound. maybe in someone's car with proper equipment they can be tamed. the point is..... u'll never know unless you try for yourself.

I have heard krx2 tweeters, a bit bright but very livelly trully tameable and accomodate very well their huge midbases. Jellup very well when used with a sub, loveable and desireable. If krx2 are that good i can asume how good Utopia would be, and reviewig such highend :S no one is good enough over here except Dr sahab.

Focal has always been brighter and they are fatigue to ears if you listen for longer periods. ( I am sorry to hurt Focal fans). One would know better when they get a chance to hear Scanspeak,Dynas, Seas Lotus, audison and Hertz etc.
