@ Bilalt: OK, the technique is as follows: Aim at a moving object, half-press the shutter to lock focus, then pan (move) the camera with the moving object in the viewfinder while keeping the shutter half-pressed, and finally full-press the shutter.
It works like this: Half-press locks focus on the car so it is sharp, and full-press while panning the camera keeps the car focused but background blurred.
If your camera has manual controls, slowing the shutter speed would give even better results. I shot on auto-mode.
