so many falls in the race kept me amused.. and lolz @Rossi and Stoner clash and fall .. poor stoner...

Ben Spies threw it away,.. i couldn't believe it.. just 3 or 2 laps were remaining and he slipped into gravel from second place...

Iannone was great in moto2 ... and motogp .... Man it was great fun to watch ... we got new front runner simoncelli ... great rider and rossi was rossi just at the end front end lost traction otherwise he was great to watch poor stoner

I missed the race. Will try catching the re-run or highlights if possible. Can anyone tell me about the feud between Rossi and Stoner? I have read about the whole crash thing and the marshals helping Rossi etc but i want to know about the comments Stoner is said to have made. Rossi running out of talent and his ambition being more than his talent etc etc.

@uk the comments you heard are right and rossi even replied to that saying i think he doesnt know who i m and for the move it stoner braked a little early i think and rossi a bit late and due to that rossi came next to stoner from inside and lost the front in the corner and took stoner with him and yeah marshal thingy is also right one thing is for sure that stoner was really really pissed off

I don't think it was a case of early or late braking by either of the 2 riders rather it was Ducati's famous front side collapsing which Stoner have suffered last year in the early races. Rossi at the time of collapsing was ahead of Stoner and in those conditions such things are most likely. If you have seen in other crashes in the same race and earlier in Moto2 and 125cc, most riders have collapsed going into the corner and very few have high side crashes coming out of the corner.

This was a racing incident, as anyother during the whole race, as for Stoner's comment well he is annoyed but should have not said that.

i think stoner wasnt surprised by that what happend ...i was shouting when ever rossi was going into corner please ducati grip grip grip grip and it was doing well until it lost the front.....

The front end folding was a problem on last year's Ducati. Thought it would have been sorted out by now.
Only seen the incident on news channels and marshals running to help Rossi. The bike seemed to have almost landed on him so it's understandable they would rush towards him. Stoner is on about not being pushed etc:S

Anyway, it happens in racing. Dunno why Stoner is so pissed about it, especially after being pretty dominant on a track where he hasn`t gone all that well in previous years.

Eddie is right though. Stoner should have seen it coming:D

This is Stoner's own comments about the Bike from Autosport link:

"There was no damage to my bike," said Stoner. "When I got knocked off, I switched the bike off with the kill switch. Unfortunately with our clutch system we have to have two pins to start the bike normally.

If you knows that your bike have a complex system to restart after a fall why switched it off in the first place.:S

ROS received from stoner what he deserved but stoner was more pissed on marshalls than ROS..

if he was dominant on the track whole weekend, then it makes it more bitter if u are unable to finish on that track.. imagine our b**t**d VET dominating whole weekend and then crashing into someone in race.. that would hurt (more to the guy who'd been hit by him )..

Caught the rerun just in time to watch the Rossi-Stoner crash. Must say having watched it a couple of times, the behavior of the marshals was an absolute disgrace. My initial reaction, having only seen the incident on news channels, was that Rossi looked to be stuck under his bike but that didn't seem to be the case while watching the recording. It looks like the bike is ontop of him but he gets up very quickly. The number of marshals surrounding him and helping him compared to what Stoner had was funny. He had to ask/ beg them to push his bike.

It's understandable to have that kind of reaction from Stoner, but he doesn't have much to worry about. The kind of bike he has, it will require a miracle of some magnitude to stop him this year.

Agree with the point you are making 100% but maybe there is a reason why the engine has to be killed. I don't know, am only saying there might have been a reason or else he wouldn't have done so.

The on track cameras captured it best and here is another one that will give you an idea. See the number of marshals rushing to help Rossi, patting him on the back as he gets on his bike, almost willing him on to get going, surrounding him. At around 16 seconds you can pause it and see how many of them are surrounding Rossi, about 4-5, and another one is rushing towards him as if he was being left out:) at around 21 seconds if you pause it again, you can see the other rider who was part of the crash and see how many are surrounding him:D As soon as they see Rossi on his bike and going away they start going towards their post, you can see Stoner gesticulating and asking to be pushed.

FIM to review Jerez marshals' actions
MotoGP's ruling body, FIM, has announced that it will review the behaviour of the marshals at the Spanish GP following the accident between Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi. The duo crashed after the Italian rider fell when overtaking the Australian, and Stoner complained after the race that the marshals had helped Rossi but not him to get back into the event.

Yes, I am dead serious about it because Stoner has accused Marshalls for biased behaviour. Just tell me what is the primary job of marshalls during a race,
Is it to help the riders that have fall of the bike and get them back in the race if bike has no damage or Is it to help them start the bike which the rider have turned off for a safety precaution.

I am sure it is the first option that is their job and second option is not at all applicable. Marshalls have pushed Stoner even after his waving hands and asking them and they are still unable to start the bike. Stoner only can start the bike if he was going downhill but that part of the circuit was rather uphill and Stoner wants these marshalls to push him for more then the safety regulations of FIM allowed them to do.

Marshalls are not allowed on the track without having a Yellow or Red Flag so if they came on the track just for pushing Stoner so that he could start his bike, I think they violate FIM rule.
