Asalam Alaikum

I have some questions
1- You were on 1 bike? no other vehicles with you?

2- Camping Cost: Did you purchased all camping/hiking accessories with you?
OR
rented camps from there? I have listened camps, tents, sleeping all available there for rent.

3- You did a long distance in 3-4 days (1 way). So did you missed any good place?
I mean to ask that you trek/offroad for side way places and lakes etc?
OR
Just run and run to the Khunjerab Pass?

1) Yes, we were on one bike. No other vehicles.
2) We purchased champing stuff but you can easily find camp sites on rent at all major places.
3) We tried to cover as much places as we could in our trip e.g. Eagle's nest, Astore, Rama lake. We had only 8 days so we could not go to deosai plains. Of course you cannot explore everything in one tour if you have limited time slot.

Thank you for sharing all the details. I hope it was a wonderful experience.

You trip forced me to reply and to share my views. I think it would be a wonderful idea if some friends are able to form a bike travelling club and we collectively arrange such tours. It would be safer, cheaper and more enjoyable.
