So they have 20W-50 in mineral for Rs 700/lit
and 10W-40 in semisynthetic for Rs 800/lit
what about fully synthetic :P?? any 20W-50 in fully synthetic???

so there is no issue of liqui moly product availability in lahore
bro for future i would recommend get same 1liter pack
as its dedicated oil for motorcycles
the shop owner seems a nice guy i think he welcomed you you with open arms

my first question is brother is this oil too thick??

and bro i better contact this oil shop dealer as this oil dealer told you Isl i8 liqui dealer
sales oil in big quantity order of lakh rupees :o so imagine if i request him to ship two bottles to me :-#:-#

Yes I will only buy the super formula one after reading complete details from the pamphlets if it is suitable or not, otherwise yes I will stick to this one.

No the oil isn't too thick, it is the same as every other 20W-50. But the thing is that this one would retain the right viscosity for long time... Even 2000Kms on this oil is safe, but I will drain it at 1500Max.

Nope fully synthetic was in very thin grades like 5W-something...
Plus they might not be for wet clutch, purely heavybike stuff....

yup, stick to this one. that formula super one seems to be car oil.

You found the liquy moly. No chance of finding it here in BWP. I am going for oil change tomorrow and if i don't even find Kixx then i am gonna shoot myself in head instead of buying havoline etc... :mad:

No no Islamabad i8 is also a retailer... All retailers/ dealers buy from head office in Islamabad... i8 retailer can also ship u! Contact him as he is cheaper

It is nice to see ppl switching to quality brands like LM,,I hav been using it after 3k Kms and never switched to any other brand..You will see a difference in engine sound and shifts.I have to go and buy 2 dabbay from i8 tmrw..oil change is approaching,,as i normally drain oil at home..

Give it to ur mechanic, he would be happy... They sell it. People come and collect used oil barrels.... Recycle them and sell it as fake oil,cheaper brands or khula oil...

Cleaned khula oil is bdw very cheap and v.good for oiling cables and chain

The only motorcycle oil they have is Racing 4T.. the rest are car engine oils. And it is not advisable to use a car engine oil as motorcycle engine oil is designed to be used with a wet clutch, if you use car engine oil it'll be fine but it won't be good for the clutch/gearbox.

So ther est of the story is...

That I hurried to avail the lowered price offer... And I got the required oil in 700Rs...
Also heard the story of the dealer who said that we charge more because the Improter(Liqui Moly authorised importer Islamabad) does not pay them frieght charges unless they buy goods worth more than Rs 4/5 Lacs... and to maintain complete range they often have to purchase in low quantity and also since these are slow runing items with few customers thats why they can't stack too much... hence the burden is then ultimately transfered to the customer.

The Blue pack shown above was semi-synthetic offered for 800Rs, but it was 10W-40... had it been 20W-50 I would have tried it!

And for future I am thinking of purchasing this one:
Formula Super 20W-50 in 3 Ltr packing..he said he would sell for 1850Rs to me..

He also showed me many other products.. the names of almost all of which are printed in the invoice attached... More than a hundred products he had! I was particularly interested and was happy to find out the range on polishes and waxes... Nice stuff!!

I managed to take a few click but sorry the cam was set at wrong settings and it did not focuss properly..

Lastly he gave me these pamphlets for free... has got detailed description of all the LQ products, sdditives, polishes, oils etc. If someone wants I can post the details of required product!

He showed me one and I inquired the price of Liqui moly Hard Wax... I have taken this pic from the pamphlet! 1100Rs for 600Ml! Not a bad deal!? What do u guys say? For now its on my wish list.... in market its selling for Rs 1500!

I inquired about that oil and he said it's usable otherwise wouldn't have shown you.... I think super formula is the same as caltex havolive "motor oil"... And you know how popular/common and good performing it is if u get an original one...

I have read in the pamphlet that this is a general purpose oil for all petrol and diesel engines.... This tells me it might be the same case as caltex havolive having said that, I'm still not gona use it if it's not jaso ma/wet clutch safe... Bdw just like havolive, it's available in 1ltr,3ltr and I guess a bigger packing too!

API SG, JASO MA, SAE 20W-50, Mineral Based.
Used it mostly when i had Junoon as it was available in proper quantity packing and i was contented with its performance.
Used it multiple times with draining interval of 1000Km. At 1000Km, it gave the feeling of loosed viscosity and getting quite black in colour, thus justifying changing ... really is JASO MA??

Brother, I have used both (Shell Advance and DYL Lube) but one thing is interesting i.e. these both oils are same with same bottle structure but the price difference is of around dyl lube is Rs.30/- above the price of shell advance.

However, interestingly, shell is mentioning 0.7 L while DYL is mentioning 0.8 L

It was very much required but the thing desired is to continue
this thread on long term basis so that people can learn over the time.

All the bikers should share there views and findings regarding the oils they used in their bikes.

Used kixx before did not like it much... Felt knocking and poor clutch performance

Very very right, Kixx is not good for a 100 cc bike so according to my observation it's a failed oil

I have used Shell Advance AX5 15 W- 40 oil in my Pridor. It's a best oil ever I found. The engine sounds very attractive and performance of engine increases with this oil.

Earlier I have used these oils.

1. Caltex Havoline
2. AHL Oil
3. Race Track (RT) oil
4. Shell Advance AX3
5. KIxx 4T

Bro DYl lube is for 100cc that is why its 0.8l shell giving oil for 70cc which needs only 0.7l
