very Bad. I hope occupants are fine. If driver is wearing a seat belt. his airbag is activated. I am sure he was wearing the belt as you mentioned.. well sometime people don't wear seat belt but buckle the belt only to stop the annoying beep sound. That can be a REAL possibility

utter stupidity. the burning vehicle is not a spot to stand with. It can explode any time. llok on rigth side a coaster in direct line of impact if this explode. We dont care how to deal such things and create further safety hazerds.

hey the seat belts has nothing to do with airbag in this vehicle they deploy only if the impact hit the sensor which is normally behind the bumpers and couple of other places

Some cars have like my VW passenger seat airbag don't deploy until its fastened.. Also for the whole system to work.. there are weight sensors in seat as well on passenger seat. Passenger detection system. Thats the reason children's should not sit in front seat being less in the threshold weight for system to work efficiently.

The deployment phenomena is different with different manufacturer

Spotted this while travelling on M1 Motorway, Rawalpindi to Peshawar

Place: Few Kilometers before Jalo Burhan Interchage
Dated: 24/03/2013

The Hilux probably collided with Pole, no other vehicle was effected.
It was heavy showers and almost visibility was zero from inside vehicle, people at scene told us that the vehicle was over speeding. No information regarding driver and passengers but there were causalities.
Ambulances and Motorway Police were on scene.

Driver side airbag was deployed, but no passengers were inside vehicle, it was reported that passengers were ejected during crash, how airbag was deployed then???

What exactly happened is not known

GOD is great , he called drive back to HIM, before drive send some other ppl to GOD

If a human is rescued from the wreck then no one is supposed to be close to this thing. Unless someone has fire fighting equipment..
