Motorway M4 update

I’m planning to take M4 from Lahore to Gojra tomorrow i.e. 30th Dec., then connect N5 on Chichawatni via Toba Tek Singh. Is that the right route? I’m traveling with my family and intend to stay the night at Sadiqabad. Having used the N5 all the way up here from Karachi this past Sunday, I want to explore a new route. Regards

other than exploring new route, there is nothing else in this route.. it will add more kilometers, you will need to drive on single road from Gojra to Chichawatni surrounded with small towns... so not a good options.. and you should drive straight from Lahore on N5 till Khanewal and then on E5 till Lodhran and then back again on N5 for onward journey..

Better to use N5 till completion of M3,M4 & M5. Hope we all will enjoy mentioned motorways after mid 2019

According to sources inside, motorway from Gojra to Toba is going to open in 2 weeks time. Let's hope the news is right.

I don't think so, it ll open gojra to shorkot, coz half section never opens.

As per Wikipedia M4 has following sections:

This tells that the section are from Gojra to Toba and Toba to Shorkot rather than Gojra to Shorkot. Therefore it may be possible that Gojra to Toba is made operational earlier and then they concentrate on Toba to Shorkot. But the date provided there is July ' 19.
