In January I have use the M4 from Gojra-Jhung Road towards Fasilabad,
Construction was in progress but main road is constructed appx near Pansera, from Pansera to Fasilabad, there are some patches need to build but overall surface was flat, and I trevell almost 40Km and after that when Fasiabad Bypass parreller to motorway then I left the Motorway..

There is no Road in my GPS (Sygic) its showing Off road...

Following photos are two days old. This is a section of M4 Motorway, Multan to Khanewal. The photos were taken near the Taatay Pur Road. Work was in progress but it was quite slow as only a couple of machines were slowly spraying the coal-tar on the road. I don't think it's going to be completed anytime soon.

There were some dirt patches, but on other portions, where I drove on, were carpeted pretty good.

I think this needs another layer of asphalt. But this one was very good too. We drove on it for a couple of kilometers, the ride was smooth as silk. Some bridges are under construction while others were completed.

This is a 4 lane motorway with two lanes on either side. The whole M4 had to be completed till 2012, but the usual happened. Wish they complete it very soon.

Yes, there will be an interchange for Taatay Pur. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M4_motorway_%28Pakistan%29#Junctions_and_interchanges

There were many places after intervals where you could get on or off the motorway for now; those were used by machines and trucks working on the road.

Yes, it's planned to be so. These motorways were planned two decades ago and now they have promised to build them. You can find the list of planned and completed motorways <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorways_of_Pakistan#List_of_motorways">here</a>. They are merely implementing those old plans.

that's very nice we can have Mway network throughout the country but i Fear only 1 thing, the main Problem : whenever we have a Govt Shift in Pakistan, such all on going Projects are jeopardize & work stops
