Any idea by when the Karachi to Lahore Motorway will start and be completed. Can't wait for that. I hope the Political parties mutually agree on its development and the land owners are fairly compensated for selling their land for road construction.

We are already pulled 20 years behind in time as compared to other countries, we need solid infrastructure development in order to succeed...

I can't understand, why inauguration by a VVIP is necessarry, just open it for general traffic. Inauguration is just a political stunt and nothing else.

Use this route. [Multan-Chicha Watani = 2hr] > [Chicha Watani-Toba Taik Singh = 1hr] > [T.T. Singh-Faisalabad = 1hr] > [Faisalabad-Islamabad = 3hr]

If u want peace of mind, use N-5 till Thokar Niaz Beg and then M-2. It is a bit long, but road is double all the way,,, so travelling time would remain the same.

Otherwise use Multan- kabirwala-shorkot-shorkot cantt-Toba Tek Singh-Gojra-Motorway....

use N 5 and then M 2 ... the road is good .. all other routes will mae you miserable as the roads condition is not very good

This route is best. I use this route for travelling between Islamabad and Multan every two months. There are few bad patches near Shorkot & Jhang rest is good. Travel in day time as Sugar Cane Crushing season is on and many Traftor Trolleys of Sugar Cane on this route and really disturb at night.
