Thanks for the apreciation dear. Yes this particular area was much deserted. On the route from Khabeki to Kanhatti we saw only three cars on our way and one bus that was of some school trip, the rest of the journey was just us and the road.

^NO. In fact the Soun valley is slightly away from the Kalar Kahar valley. Have you heard of the place Skaisar? We have air force set-up there too with a radar that covers the whole country. Soun valley is a wort seeing place and if some attention is given to it, people will forget Muree, Ayubya, etc.

We visited the Saon Valley yesterday here a few pics of the Uchali Lake. There was a kool breeze and the air was absolutely fresh. Road is not bad but there are a few bad patches. Went in my Honda Civic 05.

yaar realy soon valley is a beautiful place to visit...
i have a few visits there( my brother is posted at PAF base sakesar)
valley is full of nature
but i have not seen that "Kanhatti garden" how to go there
i generaly follow the talagang, jabba, nowshera rout..
i had seen khubaki.. but where is this Kanhatti.
and even i have not listened about it.
can you please guide me how to go there

Brother "Khanhati Garden" is just before Khabeki. When u are going from Jabba 2K.M. before Khabeki one right turn road is going to "Khanhati Garden". At that turning there is one signe board directing toward "Khanhati Garden". Khanhati Garden is 6K.M. inside from that point.

dear brother i had a chance to visit recently to the soon valley in rain....(unfortunately i forget my cam at home, so could not get pictures)
and OMG it was beutifulll in rain
but due to lack of bridges the road was blocked by rainy water at places but coz i was alone(not with family) so it was an adventure. an elieve me i seen the most beautiful scenes of my life ever

have you visited the skesar peak, and the temple and some archaeological sites around it...... especialy one close to ahmed din colony outside the skesar base.. on the skesar-quaidabad road.

i m quiet much familier from kallar kahar valley choa saiden shah n also travelled on one of the beautifull Pind Daden khan to Jehlum city road along with the bank of river jehlum i m not familier with Soun valley so can any one can guide me about roads towards these places i'll be very thankfull to you

Take the M2 frm Lahore and exit on Kalar Kahar interchange. Take Khushab road till Pail Chowk turn right and till Jaba.That is the entrance to the Soan Valley. From Jaba drive till Nowshehra and then turn right on the Sakesar Road. There are two lakes Khabeki and Uchali and you can drive up the mountain to Sakesar. Though it is a restricted area. Hope it helps.

I have visited the Skesar peak a few times but the last one was back 8 years or so, but I do plan to go there sometime near future soon Inshallah. And I have heard of the archaeological sites there but haven't seen them yet.
