I have my car on my name from previous 3-4 years since I bought and have paid last two years token online via ePay with receipts. This year on 30/06/2022 when I tried to pay tokens, it showed a different owner. I called ePay who referred to excise as they fetch data from excise. Excise helpline asked to visit office. I visited PIA road office who informed that an excise office in baghbanpura office has applied transfer on car on 23/02/2022 and my biometric (as seller) are pending, buyer has paid transfer fee as well. I denied and they asked to visit relevant branch. So I moved to baghbanpura office and that officer was no longer serving this office. New officer asked if you have sold it or any deal going on.... I siad NO!
He asked me to write an application in the name of MRA and explain this situation which I did and after two days, they suspended my mtmis status. I called to inquire and was informed that excise inspector will summon both parties and then decide. I said I am not a party, it is that purson and the inspector who accepted transfer application without seller/car/book/file etc. But they still asked to wait for summon.........
I have checked the epay app and it easily allows everyone to apply transfer on any car and takes applicant to the final biometric stage---------only creates hassle for owner proove ownership
has anyone gone through this scenario?
