thats a decent plan u got there,if ur looking at cheap power than get a b-series engine,filhaal just get ur hands on a 97 hatch,and then just save,the k20s are relatively new stuff and therefor the aftermarket products are relatively expensive for it,the b-series has had its days of trial n error and people are getting out of them now,so what i mean to say is that b-series stuff is cheap and u got loads of examples on how to make power outa them
k20a wod set u back for around $4000 and up for neat clean all parts
B16b wod set u back for $2500 and up
btw go to k20.org and search on the cars for sale and look up into how much the k20 can make on simple bolt ons etc u can even check for prices on parts and engines swaps for sale,its a great site i must say for the k20 info
