FYI, this government opened M-3 in March this year.

M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4 & M-9 were made by NHA, so facilities were not given any importance and they developed with time.

M-3 is also made under CPEC

Can anyone guide me with opening of M5 for public, can I drive on Motorway from Islamabad all the way upto Sukkar via M4(Pindi Bhattian to Multan) and M5( Multan to Sukkar)?

Yes you can... but my only concern is availability of Gasoline over the M5 Patch of Motorway.

That is my concern too. If there are no service areas available, we would need to get off from the Motorway for Petrol and then get back on it such as Multan interchange.

I think once you have refueled your car from Multan with full tank, you can cover M5 upto Sukkar with 40 liter tank (assuming your vehicle has 40 liter or bigger tank). My vehicle does more than 450km on full tank too. Another possibility is to have jerrycan for additional fuel as an emergency measure but I don't recommend it since I it could be a safety hazard.

By the way, Is there any service area on M4?

Yes you are right if you can fill your tank full from Multan entrance then you can easily cover that patch but for me this is the hassle...but on no choice basis we have to do this...

as per my information only one rest area is operational on that patch while remaining are under construction.. and no info about operational of any service area...lets cross your fingers for any latest update from any other resource.

Given the long distance of M5 with no petrol stations in between, I expect a long line at the petrol pumps near Sukkur and Multan once the motorway is fully operational.

ملتان سکھر ایم 5 آج کھل گیا ہے اور ایم4 پچھلے اتوار سے کھل گیا ہے۔
اگر کوئی کراچی سے سفر کررہا ہے تو خیال رہے کہ سکھر اور لاہور ، فیصل آباد یا اسلام آباد سیکشن میں سروس ایریا مکمل نہیں ہوئے اور پٹرول پمپ بھی ایک دو جگہہ پر ہیں۔ اس لیے سکھر سے یا ٹینک فل کروائیں اور اس کے بعد ملتان کے قریب شاہ شمس تبریز انٹرچینج سے اتر کر پی ایس او یا اٹک کے پمپ سے پٹرول بھروائیں۔ شیل ، ٹوٹل یا کسی اور پمپ سے پٹرول ڈلوانے کی غلطی مت کریں ورنہ آپ کی گاڑی ناقص پٹرول کی وجہ سے تنگ کرے گی۔
میں ریگولر سفر کرتا ہوں اس لیے اپنے تجربے کی بات کررہا ہوں۔
عبد الحکیم سے لاہور جاتے ہوئے صرف ایک جگہ پٹرول پمپ ہے اور لاہور سے آتے ہوئے ننکانہ صاحب کے بعد ایک ہی پمپ کھلا ہے۔ نماز کی ادائیگی کے لیے کچھ جگہ مساجد کھلی ہیں۔
رات کا سفر کم کریں اور ہمیشہ درمیانی لین میں گاڑی چلائیں۔ اگر سپیڈ میں ہیں اور کوئی کتا یا گیدڑ آجائے تو کٹ نہ ماریں بلکہ گاڑی کی رفتار کم کریں اگر جانور ٹکرا جائے تو آہستہ آہستہ سائیڈ پر لگا کر گاڑی کا بمپر اور ریڈی ایڈر وغیرہ چیک کریں۔ اگر لیک یا ڈیمج ہو تو فوراً 130 پر کال کریں۔
فوراً گاڑی سے باہر نہ نکلیں کیونکہ کتے اور گیدڑ ہمیشہ گروپ میں ہوتے ہیں اور حملہ آور بھی ہوسکتے ہیں۔ کٹ لگا کر بچنے کی کوشش مت کریں سپیڈ میں گاڑی الٹنے یا دوسری گاڑی سے ٹکرانے کا خطرہ ہے۔
ہمیشہ درمیانی لین میں سپیڈ لمٹ سے کم چلائیں۔

No there is no petrol pimp no motorway no anything just road and our car
Thats why somehow manage to cross 160 barrier as the road were so smooth
First we refuel from sohrab goth then from
Taj petrol pump rohri then agin u turn for 2 km for rohri.interchange and then reach bahawalpur with almost 1/3 fuel remainng
Our ride was gli auto 19 with stock tyre
Ur car and tyre must be ok for M5 otherwise u should avoid as its totally desrted no service at all
However for multan it will take almost 3:15 hour from rohri
