Thanks!. I'm not sure of the spolier. I think it comes with the car. Not many are into the Ariel cars. I'm going to do some research on this marque. The ride is great but one sits very low on the ground though, and it is a scary feeling in traffic. The owner was nice and took me round the block for a ride after the show. I wouldn't venture in heavy traffic in this car. The engine tuning is sublime.

Talking of cricket the sideshows are sometimes equally exciting. Having had some night out's with some of the older cricket legends during the last world cup, the T20 world cup, etc. the stories I could tell if only I'd remember them ?

Hired goons. This black Roller also showed up when the show was winding down. Identical to the earlier one. Except that one couldn't get a anywhere near that one as it belonged to a local political biggie.They're loaded. The day i was in Mumbai local poli,tical biggie Abu Azmi declares his wealth at RS122 crores for election purposes and everyone says that it is not even 10% , allegedly. There are many more worth even more. "Govt. controlled"?.lolz. Till the cynic, eh?.

Amazing Show and Great Coverage as usual (Y), I see quite a few Japanese Imports there which isn't a sight you usually see in the European Super Car Frenzy that is present in India,

Btw How are the Import rules in India?, I've heard from a few people that personal Import policy is pretty strict there and one can not import a car personally, Unless he really has to and has the money,
Just Curious that are these Lambo's, Ferrari's etc, Brand new off the Showroom cars or Are they Used Imports from Europe?
and in either case does the Price gets really affected after the Taxes are applied?, As here when the taxes are added the Huge price tag they already carry Ex-Factory gets almost Doubled,

Thanks!.Most of these cars are now sold and serviced in India. Lamborghini/Porsche are part of VW Group and VW Group India has a huge presence here(they make/assemble VW/AUDI/Skoda cars locally). There are Porsche dealers in major Metros.Same for Mercedes. AMG cars are now sold and serviced by Mercedes-Benz(India) through their authorized dealers. Mercedes manufactures C, E and S class cars locally in addition to Actros truck range. Prices are now cheaper as opposed to importing cars. However, import tax is still high for cars that have to be imported directly.TATA Motors is planning to open Jag & LR outlets in India next year, Ferrari has a tieup with TATA-FIAT in India and they're part of the FIAT group anyways. Same with BMW. BMW(India) assembles 3 and 5 series cars locally and also imports cars for customers and provides full after sales service.If you scan my "What's hot east of your border..." thread i have profiled both domestic and import cars on Indian street, including a M3 , M6 etc..So, i hope you get the picture.lol!. It is easier and cheaper to own an import car in India nowadays compared to before.Japanese cars are popular too. The market is huge and there is enough room for all marques to survive.TATA Motors just made RS30 crores on sale of applications(RS300 per application) for the NANO in 2 weeks and they're still selling applications!!. Imagine the inflow when those applications start turning into deposit money (RS95000) starting tomorrow. Recession?. What recession?
