Yeah. I'm waiting for the opportunity to visit Delhi and check out it's exotic car population. Meanwhile, here's some imports from the cargo area at Chennai(Madras) Airport. Check out the cars awaiting customs clearance any given day, like in the pics.

It depends on who is importing. If it is private, then 103%. The 7series in the pics i posted are imported by BMW direct so the import tax must be much lower or it's between them and the Govt. BMW has a car factory here in Chennai, so they might even get more concessions. The tariff varies, is my simple answer.
