Murree Tour - Need Advice

Dear All,

I plan to have short trip to Murree/Ayubia/Nathiagali/Thandiani by the end of this month. We will be four (me, my wife and two sons of age 3.5 & 7).

Could you please suggest any good family hotel for stay? Also would be great if some guru knows about a good/reliable driver in murree who can take us to the popular places and can be our tour guide? Any suggestions about the places to visit?

Depends on budget ...
Low budgeted .... Yarkston Inn 5 min walking distance to mall GPO. 10 min to Kashmir point Rs. 2000 to 6000/night (bargaining skills required). Centeraly heated... Located @ Barrier chowk . And hotels near it... 1 is on view forth road towards the kashmir point from jheeka gali but forgot the name (do not remember which heights)

High budgeted room ... maisonette firhill ... kashmir point near cadet college murree. Room charges 8 - 14000 /night..with breakfast
Central heating, Generator, 24 hrz hot water

If you are taking your own car, no need to hire a car or driver to visit places around. I suggest to avoid staying in Murree, spend half a day in Murree and move on to Nathiagali,. Murree is expensive, crowded, nothing much to see and do there. Better stay in Nathiagali, you can visit Ayubia, do some hiking. Its peaceful and more beautiful. Hotels are cheap as as well compared with Murree.
