This post is dedicated to Umair Saqi for showing great courage during the trek. He not only made it to the top in "150 wala chapal" but also made his descend in the same footwear!

Mostly, winds are too cold and strong at the top of MkM for a long stay but we were fortunate to have a nice steady breeze with temperature around 3?C to 5?C. After spending two hours at the top with majestic views of the surrounding mountains, we started to move back at around 10:30. We met another group of trekkers moving towards the Ziarat on our way back to Gali. After having some rest and lunch at Gali, we started to move again and made several stops while enjoying our descend. Last hour of the trek was some adventure as we did it in complete darkness. But, alhamdolillah we all reached safely back to Manda Gucha around 7: 30pm.

As expected, we were greeted by cold weather and stray dogs :$. Market and Dhaba hotels were all closed, so we moved to the mosque offered prayers and decided to take some rest. I hardly had any sleep last night so within minutes I was at Saifulmalook (H). It was 7: 00am, someone woke me up and it was Aslam bhai, the famous guide of Manda Gucha. He took us to his brother's dhaba hotel. Shots by Umair..

I immediately moved next to the fire and that was some real good feeling

Finally, team members from Islamabad, Dr. Arif and Mr. Amir, arrived.... but they were not alone! Un kay paas aik hotpot tha jis mai bohat saray paratha roll thay Salam dua baad mai hui, pehlay hum nay datt k nashta kiya.

In the mean while, Aslam bhai arranged two mules and a jeep and we were ready to move. No one was in the mood of carrying some weight that is why two porters were arranged.

Ye porters k saath mera pehla trek tha aur tab hi pata laga k 'full pait' aur 'khali kandhay' trekking k liay kitna perfect combination hai
