I got this from Canada, and it's with me in Delhi right now. If all goes well, it should be in Lahore in 2009.
I don't know of any in Lahore, but another PakWheeler with the username 'neurosurgeon' once mentioned seeing one. Perhaps you could ask him?
Will keep my eyes peeled for you, though. Sorry I'm not selling!

wow what a beauty......its really a very nice car.looking forward to see this beauty on the roads of Lahore..As I have two spitfires and these two sisters spit and MG share the same 1296CC twin carb side ways engine (correct me if I am wrong)so there should not be any problem as far as engine is concerned......looking forward to see this kooool car in Lahore,Pakistan....INSHALLAH

The engine on the MKIII Midget (1967-1974) is a 1275cc A-series, the same as on the Mini Cooper S and the Austin-Healey Sprite (which was essentially the same car with different badges). I believe MGs and Triumphs began sharing an engine (a 1500cc) after 1974. Even so, all these British marques were unashamedly incestuous when it came to the parts pool, so I'm sure there are lots of other subtle and not-so-subtle similarities.
Can't wait to bring it to Lahore myself!

there's an identical car and in identical color in Karachi. At first glance i thought its the same car but then i noticed the number plate,,,,,good luck in bringing it to Pakistan soon. You 'll get all mechanical parts for it in Pakistan....for rest, internet zindabad.

Great to know mechanical parts are available. Not that it's needed, but I'm considering having much of it overhauled once I'm in Lahore, just to replace any worn engine/electrical parts in an attempt to increase its reliability. Nothing pains me more than having it out of commission for a couple of days over a minor failure somewhere. Bloody Lucas electrics...
Hahah, I was driving to the nearby Khan Market one night and KC Uncle happened to be around... He came running over and said, 'Ah, thank the Lord it's you--I thought somebody had stolen my Sprite and was out taking a joyride!'
