I had no plans to put in front door windows, I had sealed the opeing already. Then decided and started off for the windows before taking on the final paint job.
I had plans to fix soft windows for front doors also but then a friend suggested to fix in the windows, so here are a few pictures for the job.
I became a challenge in the beginning, because i had to fix in smaller front windows, so we decided to place in the rear windows in front, thus managing the front fixed triangular glasses.
For this we managed to get straight (up and down) moving rails, with pulley mechanism.
This keeps getting better everyday
great to see you again

Nice update. You are re-designing a lot of new parts for this car, which is making this thread more interesting and have not been attempted much at Pakwheels before. Keep it up. We are all enjoying it and have long subscribed to this thread. Have you considered Plexy glass windows, made with plastic and look almost like glass and are easy to cut into any shape. I have seen some cars back in 1990s that had plexy glass instead of their original windows due to non-availability of the exact window.
No i have used original windows of this car, rear windows glasses (original ) have been fitted in front. Only machines are new, just to ease the working of these, as they have to work without the top supports of the class pane.
Thanks for encouragement.
windows would look great.. when u r cruising down the the road, windows rolled up, with no roof.. and no wind in the car.. thts the feeling of a convertible.. (Y)
Lets see what comes out of this....yesterday I designed and completed the structure of its convertible soft roof also. will show up the pictures soon.....
It would look super cool InshAllah. BTW when are you getting it painted?
Eagerly waiting for the soft top pictures!

I took the original roof of my car and extracted the main frame from roof sheet. It gave me exact profile of mazdas roof.
Few pictures of extraction process...
Tough job....with precision....
Now comes the main work...... of making this frame collapsible.....
Division of frame in 4 segments, then joining them to make a retractable profile roof .....was the main work.......
Boys did a good job.......
