1. I would advise you to get the full tail lights as opposed to the cover-glass
2. If your gear needs replacement, get only the gear that is for this vehicle and no other. You can also get your existing gear overhauled.
3. Never compromise on quality. Procure good parts once, so that you do not have to spend on them again in a few months.

I Personally Like This Model Alot Specially With My Fav. Engine 1Kz, Wish Some Day Will Have Something Like This Too ...

Please As Per the Front Weight Ratio & For Better Performance U Must Change The Shocks & Coils ... Use NITRO GAS (Standard Height or 2")
It Will Help U For Soft Drive, Clearance To Road & Hurdles On Road, Can Take Load With Full Passengers & Cargo Inside During Long Tourism etc

Aoa. I also own a tx limited wirh the same specs as your suv. I was hoping if anyone could guide me in offroading tips and the gearing. I have as of now
Repaired diffs
Replaced my engine with a brand new kz te because the old one was giving blow
Replaced shocks

My Prado has ECT and 2nd Start buttons. ECT and PWR basically do the same thing, if the button is working, you can get the short burst of power. This is very helpful when required to overtake a car/truck in front of you. I have used is mainly when going uphill in the mountain areas to overtake a big truck/van when oncoming traffic is coming down.
The 2nd Start button, is for keeping the transmission in 2nd gear, it wont go down to 1st gear. This is useful in offroading when going up slopes or mud/snow to maintain a constant momentum.

@hayzin i just read your whole thread and was quite impressed. I also own a the same prado as yours, tx limiled to be exact. I have gone to saif ul malook 4 times now. This time i am planning to cross babusar and go further. Are there any tips? I am a newbie to offroading and purchased this prado 2 years ago. I have overhauled almost every thing. Gearbox, differential, replaced the engine, overhauled the interior, new shocks, new tyres, replaced turbo,
Overhauled seats, almost fixed everything but there is a slight jerk when it changes gears as if there was plaque in the gears. I have shown this to many mechanics none of the them being able to fix the issue. Does your prado do the same? Any upgrades you would recommend. Also it would be grateful if you could guide me on where to use the HL AND LL gears P.s can i contact you on phone via call or messages since you seem to be an expert in offroading and prado.
