My Fellow Pakwheelers ASA,
On 14th night at 0 point Islamabad, near the police barrier, one of the United transport service (UTS) https://www.facebook.com/utspakistanofficial/ Islamabad Owners https://utspakistan.net/about-us/ fleet Hiace number RiS 2490 crashed into my Car (German make) left passenger side due to driver negligence over speeding. The driver admitted, and police logged the report and confiscated the Hiace until a compromise is made between me and them.
On the same night, i was assured by Mr. Ijaz from their I-9 office supervisor that they will take care of the damage etc. But the next day no-one bothered to communicate and the driver started apologizing n telling me stories that no one is coming from the company.
The visible damage is the door crushed beyond repair side mirror window glass windscreen and some others things estimated 4-5LAC if I do the Kabli stuff myself.
And most importantly my wife had concussions and bruses. but Allah ka Shukr hai bachat ho gayi.
Long story short i was advised to file an FIR by the SHO / ASI ( nothing will come out of it) but before i do that I wanted to check with you guys that how can a big fleet company with 50 years in business not care about such incidents and not have insurance to carry through.
Please advise my options - I can create all the fuss on the internet and leave them bad reviews etc - but if anyone can please help/guide it would be appreciated
Are we still living in "Chori upper se Seena Zori" wale times? Nothing has changed?
