I have a 2007 Liana RXI, First owner car driven 180k on the original M13 engine. Recently have started facing alot of issues:
Firstly the right side headlight low beam stops working every 2-3 months, The high beam works fine but the low beam does this even after replacement of the bulbs, what is a more permanent solution to this?
About 2-3 years back, The car overheated, Mechanic took out the thermostat valve even though that wasn't the issue and the radiator had leaked, After fixing the radiator and taking the thermostat out, The car hasn't overheated but runs on cold temps throughout the winters, got it checked from a mechanic, He said the head gasket is blown most probably as there were bubbles in the radiator and putting a new thermostat in would most probably cause issues. Normally this won't be an issue but my rpm stays really high at starting like 2-2.5k rpm
However I'm more concerned about the Fuel average of the car, The car struggles to get an Average of 7-7.5 in city driving even with light foot
The Ac compressor started making a weird noise, Got it checked and was told the compressor has to be replaced, Is Liana compressor easily available in Rawalpindi/Islamabad?
if yes, What would be the cost?
Lastly, The cracked dashboard
i know it's a common problem in Lianas and many other cars from Toyota as well
however what's a permanent solution to this and does anyone know any good repairers in Islamabad/Rawalpindi and the cost of such a repair?
Also some rattling can be felt in the dashboard around 1.5-2k rpm
the mechanic said it's probably due to a failing mount
